Decent size and served for the purpose I wanted. Overall as the description says they're not meant to be stand alone weights on a bar if you're for example deadlifting. I did try to deadlift with just a ten plate on each side. It didn't cause any immediate damage to the weight plates but overtime I can imagine them breaking.
Great value for quality product. I highly recommend it, especially these days when they are really hard to find!
It was hard to come by affordable bumpers. Ive managed to obtain a few different pairs. Im very happy with the quality and price. I plan to keep my eyes out for other weights as they become available-they sell out fast! Set a notification!
Wonderful quality. Am very happy with the product. However, due to covid, you'll be waiting months and months for your shipment to arrive. I ordered the first week of August and did not receive my order until October. Was it worth the wait? Sure. These bumper plates are great.
They feel pretty solid and well made, and they are at a great price. Most other places are well over $1 a lbs and this was lower at the time of purchase and they are comparable to other weights. Will definitely buy another set to increase the lbs for my home gym
I decided to buy the 160lb set over the more expensive bumper plates from rogue, rep, titan, etc. 100% worth it. Weight checks out. No damage to plates or scratches on stainless steel ring. They fit my Olympic Ohio power bar from rogue. They have a slight smell as people have said but after removing them from the package, they aired out in about a day. When I made the purchase on 1/11/24 they were not set to arrive until 1/26/24 but arrived 1/23/24. After these arrived and I saw how great they were, I bought a set of 35's as well. Get them while they are $1/lb. They are shipped and sold by Walmart, which means if you have any issues, you can literally just return them to the store 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
I like that I got what I wanted, weight wise. But when the order came through they were from two different sets. I ordered all black with the color lettering but on the pair of 45lbs weights they were sold blue. This doesn't match the rest of the set it was sent with.
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Boxes were damaged, plates were clearly used/damaged/all scuffed up. Plates are not even same shade of blue, different width, and different size altogether. Walmart offered to replace them but 45s are currently out of stock.
These were perfect starting out. Everyone was excited to have something heavy that wasn't going to destroy the gym floor. We thought we had found a good deal on a piece of equipment. However, recently we noticed that one of the plates is starting to split along the edge, chipping away the rubber/plastic outer coating and revealing the insides. Many don't feel comfortable using it anymore due to the fact that they are now hard to handle (poses cut risk) and the possibility they could fall apart if lifted too far off of the ground. We don't throw these around. They aren't dropped from a tall height. They are used as intended in a gym setting. Very disappointed in how they've held together. We've only used them for 3 months, yet it looks like we've had them for years now.
Let this be a warning - for something to expensive, it's been three weeks and the item hasn't even been shipped! Many others are having this issue too. Both Walmart and the seller lied and marked the item as “shipped” even though on FedEx it is only showing that the label has been created - the order was placed okay Dec 20 and it is now Jan 7th - so it's been three weeks and no movement! The shipping estimate shows 5 days in the product page but that is extremely untruthful. Seller is unresponsive to emails, and Walmart is no help either. All they recommended was that I cancel the order and place it again - which I already did and have yielded the same result. DO NOT BUY THESE if you actually want your item! These were supposed to be a Christmas gift but it is way too late for that now! I can only hope at this point that I might get these weight plates maybe a month from now.
