Love my set up. Not to big and not too small so it doesn't seem cheap. The color is really amazing. Bumblebee style. Barely any instructions though. For us already handy with tools it's easy, but for those who are not might struggle a bit. Overall it's really great. Holds weights, bar to work on the back and comes with the j hooks and other weight holders.
Just got the rack today and set it up in the garage. The instructions are minimal and the box the equipment came is was flimsy, so please make sure you check all your pieces to make sure nothing fell out in transit. If you are good with tools and putting things together you should be ok. Plan for 1 to 1 1/2 hours if you take your time and assembly it correctly. The good news is the rack itself is awesome! Although lightweight compared to other racks, it is very sturdy and should hold up to whatever you throw at it. It comes with safety bars and J-hooks, and as an added bonus it comes with a landmine attachment,(which I didn't expect) that can be mounted inside or outside the rack as well as either the left or right of the rack. Also, the picture doesn't show it but the holes on the vertical part of the rack are numbered so you know you are aligned when putting the safety bars or J-hooks. That is a huge plus. Plus the band pegs for resistance training can be installed either on the inside or outside of the rack depending on the exercise you are doing.. The handles of the pull-up bar are set at 45 degrees on the outside and are straight on the inside (perfect for close grip chin-ups). The overall foot printof the rack is small also, it took up minimal space in the garage. No need to mount to the floor, unless you plan to squat 600+ lbs, which I doubt most people will be doing. An alternative would be to to secure the rack to 2 layers of 4'x4' plywood. That way you could move it around your garage without drilling into concrete. Overall, a fantastic value at $200+ dollars, and a great way to workout without a gym!
Excellent frame to work out, it was missing one of the J hooks but on customer service give me the money to buy a pair. So, nothing to worry. Excellent
This squat rack is tremendous value for money, with dip bars, foot strap, landmine, 3 way pull up bar, 2 Olympic bar storage and weight plates attachment makes it a best choice i made. Packaging came intact w/extra screw bag and basic tools.
For the price a great investment for a home gym if you're looking for something sturdy that won't break the bank this is it. Perfect size and weight capacity for a small home gym.
Best deal that you can get for a good quality Multi-Functuion rack. Easy to assemble and sturdy.
I think Im going to like this rack, when I get it finished. It has the basics I need at a good price. I need to go to a hardware store and buy some extra washers to finish the assembly and some touch-up paint because of the poor packaging. I first ordered this 4 weeks ago because the reviews say its a good product but I noted the issues with packaging. My first order never arrived and was returned by FEDEX with damaged packaging when only 15 miles from my house. I managed to order another and this arrived but with badly damaged packaging held together with tape. Opening the box I found the metal parts loose, many with paint chips and dents. You wouldnt accept a product from a store like this but I had no confidence another would be better. The instructions are beyond poor and the supplied tools are pathetic. There is no way you could actually put this together with the two thin wrenches as the bolts for the pull-up bars are sunk in the box frame. For the price its good but they could spend $2-3 more and actually package the parts properly so they are protected from each other inside the box and dont float around inside. Also, pay someone to write some assembly instructions . Some of the design details are questionable and cosmetic rather than functional. The triangular side supporter brackets have some odd shape detail that isnt needed at all and they are so tall that you cant easily access the bolts to the main supports so you have to tighten the uprights before you add the side supports. There are also odd cut out shapes on the reinforcing gussets on the top and rear support bars that have no useful function at all - they just add cost for no reason. It would be better to have some thicker plates in some areas and another 20 washers or so for the same price. In the box were a few pairs of what I think are supposed to be dip bars but I will throw these away as these are junk and dont look safe. The land mine attachment is a bonus I didnt expect but I didnt really want it and would have preferred better materials or packaging. I will probably cut the weight storage bars off the back so it can be pushed against a wall to save space. Overall, this is a $250 half rack and will do what I need in the space I have available.
It came in a pretty beat up box: screws were missing, a metal part was not bent the right way, and weight bar holder was bent inward. There couldn't of been more pieces missing/broken but about a quarter of the way, I just gave up because it wasn't aesthetically pleased and had overall poor quality. Also, instructions are virtually non existent.
Came in box destroyed, one of the the long metal bar is dented, scrapes on the pull-up bar, and missing 2 bolts and 6 nuts... poor packaging!
No hardware in package so I cannot assemble. WalMart cannot provide replacement screws and I cannot return due to box being so heavily damaged in shipping. Going to Home Depot to hopefully find screws that will work. Spend more money on a rack than this as you get what you pay for.
