BalanceFrom Olympic Bumper Plate Weight Plate with Steel Hub, Color Coded, 260 lbs Set

The complete set of weights arrived without the barbell. When I reported that I was told I would have to ship the entire set back to get the Barbell that was supposed to arrive with the weights… besides being just stupid, the set is now sold out, so that wasn't a remotely realistic.

I immediately purchased these after seeing the deal advertised in Men's Journal (a low priced set of 10, 25, and 45 bumper plates). I couldn't be more happier! These bumper plates are perfect for those putting together a home gym or looking to add more weights to the inventory. They are well constructed and have zero fitment issues with my standard 2" Olympic barbell. For those of you who like to drop or slam their barbells on the floor, keep in mind that the outer diameter of the plates are the same across all the weights. The plates just get thinner as you go down in weight (the 10lb plates are roughly 3/4" thick). Consistently slamming these thinner plates on the floor may degrade/damage them. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. This is such a great price for a set of brand new bumper plates!

I ordered a 260lb Olympic plate weight set. I ordered “everyday essentials” brand and received “signature fitness” brand weight plates. Not only that, I am missing a 10lb plate weight and also a 25lb plate weight. This is terrible! I bought this set during Black Friday so I can’t even get this price anymore!!! The set was supposed to come with 2 -45lbs, 2-35lbs, 2-25lbs, 2-15lbs, 2-10lbs but I did not receive everything and what I did receive was the wrong brand!!! To make things worse, when I contacted Walmart they made me bring everything back to the store to return! I lost time and money!!!

Bumper plates looked used. They had a lot of oil like substance in them upon opening. Some of the letters are discolored and not white like others. They have a pungent odor that doesn't go away-Toxic like smell that I have to keep the garage door open to air out.

Great bumper plates, on par with just about all major brands. However, the overpowering chemical rubber smell that they emanate for weeks after being unpacked forces me to take a star off. The problem is that each plate is pack in an airtight plastic bag, in addition to the box. If those bags had holes, I am sure the smell would be gone by the time they arrived. I had them for a week in a garage hoping to reduce the noxious odor, but even after that my gym area smelled like a chemical plant for a month.

Great deal. However, the red color will come off on your hands or when you might bump your base boards. Not bad but an issue. Also they are difficult to pick up off the floor, not really engineered to grab in other words. I still got them on clearance and I'd buy again.

Ridiculous - both the item, and the customer service at Walmart. Weight came, no bar. Order update emails and texts weren't at all clear about the bar coming on a different day. When I finally got a human with Walmart customer support, I literally couldn't understand 75% of his words, but he wanted me to return the entire order for a refund. I asked for a supervisor who simply told me the bar was expected to arrive today by 9. Never arrived, but came the next day. Waited another couple days, and the clips still hadn't shown up. I began chat with customer support, tried to offer me a $10 voucher to buy new clips, sent me the link to the clips for a 1" bar (this one is 2"), I said I needed $15 because 2" clips were like $12.99 plus tax. He then said I need to return the order for a full refund, and that's after I articulated how ridiculous that would be to somehow pack up every plate and the bar (my effort, my time). Now I'm going to yet another supervisor. These Walmart agents are horrible, this product was incomplete, it does literally stink up the garage. Honestly, I'd avoid Walmart altogether.

They are hard to grip and quite slick. This isn't quality rubber. They have a strong rubber smell out of the box but that goes away after a few days. I am using them for a leg press machine so they won't move much. Wouldn't recommend for loading on and off a barbell all the time but perfect for a machine or rack where they will stay most of the time.

Received item not as described, totally different brand of weight plate received, highly disappointed in the item after I expected to buy what I see in the photos provided in the listing.
