I absolutely love my Live It Up Bali Bra. This is the only one I buy. As the old commercials said, it really does "lift and separate." It is very comfortable too.
I've been using Bali minimizers for over 20 years. Every time I try something else it's just not the same. I love the supportive shape. The only thing that keeps me from a 5 star is that it kind of wrinkles up in the front. It just doesn't sit smoothly.
I decided to write a review because I wanted to give this brand and bra some good light. Rating the bra a 4/5 for me because I noticed the bra fabric has these ‘stretch marks' appearing underneath when I wear a plain T-shirt, but otherwise Bali has actually made improvements to this bra overtime, while still maintaining comfort and “true to its' description” facts. The last time I bought these bras was about 10 years ago. Despite what others have said prior, the fit is (still) fine for me, if not better. Will be purchasing again in the nearby future, I'll always be a customer.
This was my favorite bra for years, but my size changed, and now I find it does not fit as well. If i wear my old size, I get "side boob" and overflow in the front, but when i go up a cup size, the cups are a little too loose. I can wear it, but it just isn't as comfortable anymore.
The bra is good. It does not "cover" as well as prior of your bras. I have been using this brand and style for many, many years. They last forever, which is good but the right cup , on these new ones, seem just a tad smaller and my R breast likes to 'peek out '. I could not wear it with a sweater!!
Fits great for a great price. It seems in larger band sizes colors have a limited availability. My only real complaint is that the underwire migrates toward the middle of the bra leaving about 1/4-1/2 inch at the side of the breast without underwire support.
Even though it's the correct size, it has these weird little gathers near the edges of the cups (nearest the center of the chest). I had this bra when I was two sizes bigger. I loved the minimizing effect back then, as I do now, but it still had that same problem. (Was 34F, now 34D)
I've worn this bra for YEARS, as I love an unlined bra. Previously, the underwires had a little piece of plastic that somehow attached them into the underwire pocket. Now, they just look like they have dipped the ends in rubbery coating....and since they no longer reach that pocket, they quickly POKE THROUGH the sides. Seriously, I bought three recently.......in less than ONE MONTH, two have poked through. The design is now flawed. I recommend to you --- DO NOT PURCHASE. (I am DD.....if you were maybe a C or smaller, I don't think this would be as a big an issue.)
I bought this bra a week ago. I have purchased more than 15 of these over the years. The measurement of the torso is 3 inches smaller than the last time I bought these bras, I measured them all including colors I ended up not wearing often at all. This cannot be blamed on bras stretching over time. Nothing has changed with me, I have not gained weight--if anything I've lost weight over the years. This sizing is messed up! Perhaps due to the python experience and practically being squeezed to death the cup size seems off too. If they're sticking with this new measurement situation--size UP. I have never had to change the size of this bra in the past.
Underwire pocket too big. Had to remove the underwire to even wear the bra the first time. It poked me like a broken underwire would. There's an extra inch of pocket so the underwire slips around and digs into your armpit as you move. There's clearly no quality control.
