First purchase of Ball Park. I've been buying two of the less expensive name brands for as long as I can remember. For some reason, their hotdogs no longer met my expectations... Cheaper ingredients or my changing taste buds??? I don't know. I tried ball park, and I was impressed. I will definitely buy again.
I quite like these hot dogs. This is the hot dog that my family and I have moved on to since we stopped eating the expensive, hard to digest beef hot dogs. I like mine on a bun with mustard and a dill pickle. Chips on the side and you have a perfect, casual Friday dinner.
Ball Park Classic Bun Size Hot Dogs are perfect with chili or just mustard or ketchup. They are great for cookouts or simple meals at home. Cooking them is a breeze. Put them on the gill, boil them or fry them up in a pan on the stove top. They are great on their own or as an additional ingredient in other dishes. I often cut them into bit size pieces and add them to pea soup for a smokey flavor.
I grew up eating OM hit dogs but as an adult I tried other brands, and for the price, taste and texture these are my favorite. I know people are hating on hot dogs right now for health reasons but we don't eat the every day, more in the spring and summer. I make roll ups using soft taco size tortillas, cut a slit in the weiner and cut some cheddar cheese wedges and put them in the slit, wrap it up in the tortilla and fry it till golden, it's crispy and delicious. Also a cheap quick meal that kids love, cut these up in some Mac n cheese and kids will eat it up. I like to chop some up in my chili and pour over Fritos and add cheese and chopped onions or make corn dogs, now I'm hungry lol
I don't like the feeling of having a hot dog that is soft and mushy on the inside. Take Hebrew National Hot Dogs. They remain firm after cooking every way we have. Be it the BBQ, steamed, baked, pan fried, air fried or boiled. These are budget friendly and quality ingredients are used, just not the right ingredients for me.
My order was almost 1 hour late !! Not happy about this. I am seriously considering cancelling my account. second time for late delivery, plus the milk. cooking oul, and creamer were laying in the bag on their sides and the ground beef was upside down on top of the milk. . All the heavy items were in one bag. Im 87 years old and I could hardly get that one bag in the house. This is unacceptable.
idk. I guess I expected more. I typically buy regular hot dogs (chicken %26 pork). These beef hot dogs seem very greasy. Are they loaded with beef fat? I did not like them. Fed them to our dog She like them.
So tired of ordering things from Walmart to be delivered and having that order delayed and delayed and then the item not available! I have ordered from Walmart the last 4 times and had to cancel my order because either they did not have what I ordered or the order is delayed, and I have to reschedule the order. This is NOT convenience. It is inconvenience! I am considering dropping my subscription!
I usually buy beef hot dogs. But always want a bun size hotbdog. But when inflation is shrinking my budget and because I am handicapped and can't shop myself and have no one to help me at the stores, I don't bother hiring an ADA van and rely on the product to be as they advertize. My grandson unpacked them and I didn't get a chance to see if they were a decent size. I have always depended on Ball Park hot dogs. Finger's crossed. 🤞
