[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so surprised that the blender had a heating element!! It made wonderful quick cream soup and looks so beautiful. It is well designed (unlike my previous blender that ate its sealing rings). Only thing that I would have liked is a more detailed instructions. I am having trouble using the small carafe to make a smoothie without heating it.

It's been a while since I had a blender. Basically because they always seem to keep breaking. I wanted one that was versatile. When I saw this I knew it was the one!! I started out using it for juicing and smoothies... than made some wonderful fall soups... it has exceeded my expectations. I use it almost daily. Can't wait to make some yummy things for Christmas with it. Also it's beautiful. I didn't even buy a cover for it because of that. Whenever anyone comes over they ask me about it. So stylish and a powerhouse for the size. I use this every morning for my smoothies and can take them to go in the personal blending cup. Powerful enough to work through frozen fruit, vegetables and ice cubes. I love this blender and I think it looks very european on my counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for smaller jars which was not so easy to find. Then I found this while searching in the internet websites. The jar size is good for me: not too big, not too small. Other brand jars are too big and heavy with contents in it to lift/pour to cups. The slender bottom of jar where the blade part can be separated makes the cleaning easy. Also the size of circle (blade part) is small enough to fit in my hand, not straining my finger joints to twist to open, especially my thumb. The option of different mixing buttons are so helpful. I do not have to keep pushing. It automatically set it for me depending on what I am making. The overall design is sleek to look at on my counter, not bulky at all. I am pleased with the blender.

The quality is solid, and the smoothie travel cup has great non-spill top. I just made myself a delicious smoothie with frozen berries, ginger and hemp milk, added some flax and chia seeds. Everything was blended well and the texture of the smoothie is great. If I were to complain: Some smoothie liquid stuck inside of the bottom base and the only way to clean it is to unscrew the blade base with the provided unlocking tool. Which is inconvenient.

This matters a lot because I prefer to keep it constantly plugged in due to my daily usage. If I'd known about this lack of an on/off switch I would not have purchased.
