Balloon Time Medium Helium Tank Kit – Portable Helium Balloon Tank with Ribbon and Balloons

Since party stores are not around like they used to be, I decided to buy this tank and do the balloons myself for my nieces baby shower I was making at our Summer house. Also, it saved us from having the balloons in our faces driving from the store to the house. The tank was very easy to use. Put the balloon on a nozzle, press downward, don’t fill the balloon up too much and tie a knot. We put curling ribbon at the end and they looked terrific. It didn’t exactly fill 50 medium balloons but that was just fine for us. I would suggest getting 2 if you’re having a large affair. Btw, the balloons really only last a day filled. We were very surprised they lasted such a short time. The instructions tell you not to fill them too far ahead. It’s definitely true. I filled in with some Mylar balloons from the dollar store that I bought unfilled. I definitely advise you do this. Have a great party and enjoy.

Bought this for a birthday party and some of the balloons wouldn’t float. If you plan to fill foil balloons save your money and get them filled somewhere. Should have a disclaimer that it will not work for these types I tried several. Three stars because it worked great for basic latex balloons.

Very disappointed in this item. Helium has become very expensive as I understand it to be scarce. I got this to blow up balloons for a birthday party, it said that it would blow up 30 balloons. It came with balloons, which was nice however I had purchased my own mylar balloons to blow up that match the party theme. The helium in this tank was so weak that the balloons did not even float in the mylar balloons. And the normal latex balloons they did Float However we got much less than 30 and the tank ran out. It is also a pain to recycle so do your research ahead of time. While it is recyclable, my county charges a fee to recycle it, which I did not factor into the cost. Overall, it seemed like the tank was very old, the helium quality was very poor and I would have been better off just buying 30 balloons at the dollar store for a similar price.

I was super excited to finally have my very own helium tank! However, the inflated balloons and my excitement were not long lasting. There is a reason why they advise you to blow up the balloons 1-2 hours before the event. The balloons do not stay upright for very long. I blew up my balloons in an air conditioned room and left them over night.. by morning all of the balloons were on the tables and floor. I then had to blow them up again and did so 30 minutes before my event to ensure they were floating. The tank was very easy to use. No setup required. It came with a good number of balloons and an assortment of colors. If you can spend 30 minutes before your event blowing up, tying and applying string to balloons then this is for you! It certainly does help for a last minute get together or short event.

I guess I should have read the reviews instead of trusting the overall ratings. We blew these balloons up AT the party and they never floated; such a disappointment! I could have paid slightly more to have a store fill them for me but was working with limited car space and bought this for convenience.

Went to blow up the balloons the night b4 birthday party but it only blew up half of a balloon. Ran to Target and bought another one, same brand, as that's all they offered. Same thing happened. It only blew up half of a balloon. Granddaughter so disappointed. Ended up buying prefilled balloons for $55. Don't waste your money.

Balloons don't stay aired up long and take doesn't air up hardly any balloons. it's so much cheaper to just let the store fill up the balloon literally more bang for your buck to let the store do it and forget the tank... wouldn't even air up 20 small balloons for the amount of money

This item may be quick to receive an easy to use however, it is not the best on quality I blew up balloons the night before actually at 2 AM of the day that I needed them found and the balloons were on the floor by 8 PM so it was actually a waste of time

the helium would not hold up the balloons if we tired ribbon to them. it was like it was more air than gas...

Pay attention to the expiration date. When I purchased this it was expired. Who looks for a date on something like this????? The balloons that were blown up, which was much less than it said, AND they deflated in less than 12 hours.
