Balsam Fir - 100% Pure Aromatherapy Grade Essential oil by Nature's Note Organics - 8 Fl Oz

Came on time, packaged well. I don't know if I got a fake or knock off because the label is boldly spelled wrong "Balasm Fir" and not much other info. on it. Upon opening the entire bottle, it was not very fragrant. I put a good amount on a cotton ball and placed it in front of the fan on my fireplace, hoping to fill the room with the scent, but no one else could smell it. I had messaged Nature's Note directly before ordering and was told this was pure 100% Balsam oil as opposed to an essential oil in a carrier oil. At that time they said it was, and that it was "cold pressed." When I messaged back and asked to clarify because i suspected it was "steam distilled," not cold pressed, I did not get a response. I am now suspecting this is some kind of oil infused with a little Balsam due to it not being very aromatic. I really tried to do my due diligence to get a pure oil and it seems, with Balsam being one of the more fragrant Christmas trees, that this would have been much stronger if it was. I can not recommend this oil. I gave it 2 stars in case it's just my ignorance of how these oils should be, but I don't think it is.
