[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and myself have been outside in the yard a lot while in quarantine and I've used this and it has worked great so far. It is in fact non greasy and it absorbs quickly into the skin. We have yet to get a sunburn. The smell is also amazing and doesn't smell like chemicals like other products. The 6 oz bottle is also a good amount. The quality is amazing. I will only use Banana Boat Light as Air from now on. I highly recommend!
Easy on, great protection.
It is light as air, non-greasy and it works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids play hard in the sun and sweat a ton so finding a good sunscreen is essential so they won't fry outside. This has officially became my new favorite sunblock, it rubs in clearly and isn't greasy at all so it doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky or slimy after applying it, it honestly does feel light as air. It provides protection while in water so it's safe for pool use or unwanted related activities like hiking. It's a higher level of fifty plus UVA/ UVB protection which is really good and it shows. My children are burn free from playing outdoors and I'm sunburn free from my everyday runs. I'd say Banana Boat wins the sunblock race for sure, I'll continue purchasing this and I'm glad I got it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Banana Boat - Light As Air Lotion is true to its name. When applying it I was expecting to feel a heavy gunky feel. In all reality I felt like I was putting on lotion. I usually have to fight my 4 year old on putting on sunscreen, but she is so excited to pur this one on. Super happy with the design of the bottle. It was easy to squeeze. The smell wasn't overpowering. This is one of those sunscreens that I see myself using year around when we are out in the sun.
Really is better and lighter than the orange Banana Boat sunscreen. A bit expensive for the size of the bottle and hard to get the sunscreen out at times.
I tried this because the face version has been discontinued. It gave me pimples. The face version did not. Despite having the same ingredients, it's mixed together differently enough to behave differently on your face. If your face is prone to getting pimples then avoid using this on your face.
I recently purchased this for a trip to the beach because of its claims to be water resistant and non greasy. The texture and feel of this product is incredible, I haven't experience anything like it. My only issue is it did not preform the way I thought it should. I stay at the beach for maybe 3 hours and reapplied the sunscreen every hour because I was in the water. Each time I would get out, towel off and apply. I waited around 10-15 mins before getting back into the water. When I got home I noticed my skin was burnt. (My face was fine, I used a different sunscreen.) I think this product would be alright if you do not do any water activities. I will test it just going outside and update my review if it preforms any differently.
I got this because the face version has been discontinued. This non-face version caused my face to break out. It's unfortunate that uninformed people are spreading misinformation based on the ingredient list between the face and non-face versions being the same. The formulation of the face version minimizes clogging pores despite the same ingredients. This misinformation may have caused sales to be low resulting in the face version being discontinued. If you made 2 pizzas with the same ingredients but one had 1 drop of cheese and only one piece of pepperoni, then are they really the same? How about 2 coffees but half of one is creamer with a lot more sugar? If you're acne prone, then don't put this on your face.
This item was left in my mailbox and was hot when I got there. Should've been sent in a container that kept it cool to retain efficacy. Will it still be as good? Considering that the price is double since last year, I am very disappointed and may return item.
