Good and Quick and Easy and Fast Meal

Mary November 14, 2025

Banquet still makes good stuff - ever since I was a kid. These little pot pies are still delightful. On a tight budget and in a hurry? Try them with a small salad and a side if vegetables, Just what my mom served up in the '50's. Puts a smile on my face every time.

Banquet Pot Pie

Theqjb November 17, 2025

Call me crazy, but there is just something about a basic frozen pot pie that makes my belly smile. Call it nostalgia, because it takes me back to my childhood. The meat is what you’d expect from a one dollar serving of food but the real star of the show is the crust and gravy anyway. I find them much easier to prepare these days than when we had to heat them in the oven. I appreciate the fact we can make them in the microwave for a fraction of the time and frankly the cost but not lose the browning of the crispy crust. Get you one.

I Like Pot Pies and I Cannot Lie

MCLimitedDollahs November 7, 2025

I like pot pies and I cannot lie, You other shoppers can’t deny, When a pie walks in with a crust so round And that golden brown baked crown, I get stuffed! Gotta heat it up quick, Even though I know that gravy’s thick! Deep in the freezer zone, I’m hooked and I can’t leave ‘em alone! Oh baby, I wanna get chummy With beef, chicken, or turkey tummy! My stomach tried to warn me, But that sodium’s just too corny! Ooh, Walmart’s bakin’— One buck, no mistakin’! I’m droolin’, I’m eatin’— Microwave hummin’ and beepin’!

I've always loved eating Banquet Chicken Pot Pie 🥧 😋 It's my go to quick lunch or even a snack. Even though it's convenient to cook it in the microwave I prefer to cook it in the oven. It might take longer but tastes way better. Don't get me wrong it still tastes good from the microwave but the oven crisps up the crust.

Whip Inflation Now

Tim July 21, 2025

Combined this with ramen to come up with the finest inflation-beating dinner of all time, designed by me anyway. Rest of you got any like-minded ideas, send 'em along. Topping my best budget-buster can only help us all beat the Fed and win its snarky game.

Ok

Patricia October 10, 2025

Have purchased banquet chicken pot pies for years, great for a budget, one of few brands that have top and bottom crust. Cooks beautifully to golden brown and is flakey with good taste. The filling is really good except i do not like the flavor of the chicken chunks, so i push that aside and share it with one of my yard critters.

The quality has gone to almost zero .

Patricia October 15, 2025

I remember eating these chicken pot pies as a child and they were wonderful . Now the quality has gone to almost a zero . The crust was good . The taste was fair . There was only a small amount of contents inside the crusted shell . One example would be there was like two very small pieces of potato in it . The few pieces of meat that was in there was really indistinguishable. I will not buy it again .

laura December 24, 2025

I grew up on these pot pies but lately I have found the taste is quite different. The chunks of meat are actually hard and rubbery They don't taste like chicken at all! Don't know what they are but It's turning me completely against their pies I won't purchase again until they fix their issues with the freshness and a quality of the chicken or other meats and veggies in their products I would not recommend. I question as to whether this contains real chicken or not.

Greed again

Connie July 17, 2025

I use to eat these all the time, but with shrinkflation, I noticed you get a pie crush, gravy, no peas, 2 or 3 small cubes of carrot and 3 to 4 small cubes of chicken. This is greed in action and they have totally lost my 70 years of business. BEWARE
