Who knew Bar S was secretly in the cat entertainment industry? Forget those expensive automated laser toys. These fun franks are it. I’m vegetarian, so I can’t speak to their intended human consumption purpose, but as CAT TOYS? Heck yeah. The way small cut disc shaped pieces bounce and roll across the kitchen floor provides endless entertainment for my feline overlords. It’s like feline racquetball. They chase, they pounce, they bat. And after the hunt is complete, they can actually EAT their catch. It’s the circle of life, Simba. The price is honestly better than a lot of treats. Just remember they are treats. From hot dogs to dot dogs for cats.

Look it is not ever going to win top ten best hot dogs on those Google Lists. but for the price get some cheese some ketchup and mustard plus any of your favorite condiments. when things are tight money wise I survived on these dogs on many occasions. oh, wait things are still tight sorry my bad😏

I usually avoid eating hot dogs since I've reduced processed foods in my diet. However, I still purchase them for my dog, Beethoven. On rare occasions, when I decide to enjoy a treat, I like to have Coney Island-style hot dogs with chili and cheese, or I prepare pigs-in-a-blanket by wrapping them in croissant dough with cheese and baking. When dipped in a mix of mustard and ketchup, they make a perfect snack.

I like everything about this product. It's a good substitute if you don't mind a basic hot dog. There's nothing fancy like all beef as it is a mixture of different meats. It boils well without splitting. In general they don't taste too salty for being a processed meat. The price is reasonable especially in today's economic grocery shopping trips. When they are on sale like they are now I like to stock up and put them in the freezer.

Bar s 8 count hot dogs are a great little treat. I take these hot dogs chop them up into small bite-size pieces and cook them up with onions and potatoes with seasoning boy this makes a great breakfast lunch or dinner.. definitely would recommend if you’re on a tight budget or just want some easy to cook up hotdog..

Bar-S hot dogs have become an absolute requirment every time I shop at Walmart. I usually only have one, although two is not unheard of. In fact, I don't even bother to cook them. Half frozen is the best. They stay on the hook better and I catch more fish.

Ok...you figure this out. These dogs come out to a dime a piece . A dollar a pack! That makes them cheaper than any dog treat or dog food you can buy! Having trouble making your budget? Add these to your Top Ramen and live like a KING! Now thats a hullava value! Just smile !!!!

Idk what is in this! I am 70, so it does not matter. On sale, cheapest protein i can buy, prepare fast without heating the kitchen. I just use walmatprt $1/loaf bread, chopped vegs, a wide variety of spices, seasonings, sour cream and sauces, and i feel like i just walked out of a restaurant from a $20 meal, having spent $1. When not too desperately hungry to wait, i will often marinade for terriaki or bbq marinade, wrap in foil, leave in sun for 10 minutes with some cheese. Prepare poverty food well, and you never feel drprived

If you want a mass-produced hot dog, which is 90% of them out there, this one is likely the best value. You won't know much difference from most of the others once on the bun and covered in all your favorite condiment(s). To be fair, the best are old school sausage type dogs with natural casings, twisted and packed like the old frankfurters, but they are priced as much as 10X more depending on the store.

It's just not edible, smell is intensely artificial, and (sorry) make's me gag/hurl. Sometimes you gotta try the cheapest protein available at the market, and this was one of those times. If Walmart wasn't insisting on this review, no one would need to know my experience. Is my review helpful, doubtful.
