These hot dogs plump up nice , have a really good flavor when boiled or grilled, I don't have a roller cooker but they'd probably do well there too. They don't have the snap of the skin like the all beef ones that cost 4 times as much but these eight franks are a full pound of good eating hot dogs that aren't going to leave you feeling like you had more bun than weiner. I've grilled them and they aren't so greasy they flame out and turn to charcoal,though a lower heat then full on creation is advised (any dog would burn in that.) I've made chili dogs, chili-mac-cheese-dog casserole and plain old boiled them from frozen because I forgot to plan a dinner. Slap them in a bun or even a piece of bread and they are not gonna disappoint! Great dog for the price! RECOMMEND you at least try them

Bar-S are the best cheap hotdog you can buy. Fact is, everyone likes different things about hotdogs. Personally, these are 5 star all day long, and I wont argue against the haters. They are a cheap hotdog; you can't defend that. However, they are a taste I like. They cook well in every way from being microwaved to over a smoky grill. These are a go-to staple in my house, as the grandkids love them on buns or just cut up. Super simple to cook straight from freezer with zero notice. Great value for the money.

Such a value! I put 2 at a time wrapped in aluminum and put in freezer. Always ready for a quick bite wrapped in Walmart bread topped with condiments. 😋.

I prefer these to most hot dogs because the seasonings and preservatives are not as intense as most other hot dogs and nobody beats this price, especially with Walmart. I like to slow roast them and eat with or without a bun. If you are going to eat hot dogs, these or Ball Park is the way to go.

Boil, bake or BBQ--are these the best hot dog I've ever eaten? No. But they are good. What's hard about a hot dog? Easy to cook, dress up and filling to eat. Chili sauce, mustard, catsup (or ketchup if you prefer), Miracle Whip, onions, relish, cole slaw...I could go on and on with the many ways to top a hot dog. Grab some Bush's baked beans off the shelf and some Amish Macaroni salad from the deli and you're eating a summer delight. Now, just a recommendation---to top it all off get some root beer and vanilla ice cream for root beer floats to wash it all down. Now THAT'S summer my friends!

I like the taste of Bar S over most brands. Even the more expensive ones. It has a great “ballpark hot dog” taste to me. I like them best with restaurant style salsa on top.

These were good overall. They stuck to the grill at first but once they heated up they cooked better and got a nice char on them. Good flavor and easy to make for a quick meal.

I think I paid too much - and they were on sale. I did not like the flavor or the texture. I tried roasting them and boiling them. Nothing helped. It is edible and I will eat every one of them, but I will not be happy. More chewy than snappy. And I am not sure what flavor they are trying for here. Mild? Poor? Odd? These are just not for me. I would recommend that you spend a bit more.

I ordered Jumbo Sized hot dogs and got regular instead. I didn't want that kind. Now I have 2 packs of regular hot dogs that I have no preference for. not at all pleased with this.
