Makes a good sorta vegan hogey: wrap it up in some raw cabbage or lettuce. then its' " sorta vegan hogey" or wrap it. and dunk it ib some cheese fondo, fry it: then you have: a not at all vegan hogey. probably could place in a state fair. great quality sausage with endless option.
I can eat all Bar S products and they don't affect my msg sensitivity. They don't use msg or any derivatives that affect me. The flavor of these is good. If you have recipes to use cut smoked sausage I highly recommend these. I've used them in soups and casseroles. I also like to grill them like their hot dogs. Excellent value and meal stretcher. Will definitely repurchase!
I've purchased a couple of these type shelves storage cabinets. This one is much dirtier than once I bought before and also looks better. I needed a little extra storage space and had the room in the house to put it so I had my son assemble them for me, took him less than half an hour. The first one I bought a different brand was kind of rickety. It did well but my wife put a little bit too much weight on one shell in it bit a little, but this one is much stronger zippers up all the way keeps dust pet hair off your clothes And they're very inexpensive. I was surprised that the quality for the price I paid. They're also good to put in closets depending on your closet size. You can also purchase little hooks at Lowe's or Walmart or somewhere and attach them to the stud of the wall to keep them from being turned over But mine is pretty stable without doing that so just depends and of course if you got pets that like to climb, our children, grandkids, etc. you might want to consider attaching it to the wall and they don't come with any braces.
These sausages are the PERFECT size to use as a "Hot Dog" for a cook out/picnic food. The flavor is delicious and I've never had any complaints about these, cooked outside, over the camp fire or in the house. The flavor and texture of these is exceptional...
It depends on what you're wanting: I can rate these super high or super bad. As a top tier Smoked Sausage, you will be very disappointed. Now that the negative is out of the way... I LOVE THESE! As a basic Smoked Sausage they are awesome. I look at them more like a very well large flavored fancy hotdog LOL In fact, if I am making hotdogs for something like a cookout, I guarantee there will be these as well. Kids seem to like basic hotdog still and they are cheaper, but this is what the adults usually grab LOL If I want a traditional sausage in a traditional casing... I buy those. However, I will almost always have these with them as an alternative option. They are an awesome value and because of that a go-to staple for me when grilling. I also keep some frozen for quick meals that easily thaw and/or cook in the microwave. It's basically an upgraded hotdog with about the same texture (maybe a little firmer) that has a superior Smoked Sausage leaning flavor profile.
It's a good quality product. Quality and value are there. Well let's be honest, food cost are so ridiculous that even good value bargain. Buy are still way too expensive it's a good quality product. before I cook out and you're on a crunch budget I would use for a cookout but they are to me kind of tough but it might have been a bad batch. I normally buy Barb hot dogs or sausages because I love the taste of them and the smoke sausages are very good and if you use sausages for a casserole it would be good for making a sausage casserole
These are the bottom of the barrel of acceptable sausages. Are they good? No they are not. Are they bad? No not bad either. They are cheap and that is why you are considering them and why anyone else will considers them and get them and they fill that need well. Get them and you will not be disappointed unless you are expecting a high quality sausage.
First of all, people need to stop giving bad product reviews to items that the manufacturer had nothing to do with. There is another section for your overall experience, like if you didn't receive it on your order. Or it wasn't cold. The open seal happens. It wasn't uncommon that i would pull a pack of poor seal packaged meat mostly bacon per box i would stock. Well, they are inexpensive. And i wanted an easy food to prepare. i am not a huge fan of smoked sausage, but i don't mind them occasionally. i remember these being a bit better when i ordered them in the past. They are more so now, more hot dog flavor like and somewhat off. Been along time, but i am pretty sure i did not like the hot dogs. Not smoked near enough. Was annoyed i could not open by pulling. i cut the side to get to the ziplock. Cut off more. The ziplock just fell out. So i am out of a storage bag. oh well. But you get what you pay for, and man, the price goes up, and the quantity goes down.
The item was substituted with one that wasn't available, and it had a pinhole that let air and bacteria in, making it unsafe and compromising freshness. Shoppers need to be more careful—if they wouldn't buy a damaged or open product themselves, they shouldn't select it for us. This waste of time, money, and health is unacceptable, especially with the high cost of living. We pay for subscriptions and rely on shoppers to choose quality items, but many times we get damaged or spoiled products. If the quality doesn't improve, I might as well shop myself to avoid open or spoiled items. Shoppers should treat our products as if they were their own—only selecting items they'd trust. This process wastes time and money for everyone, including taxpayers, and refunds add further hassle without the product. Companies should take responsibility, value customer feedback, and consider letting them handle shopping and delivery directly to our door not by third party. I feel third party don't care as much as the company does. Our money and health deserves better.
