Not shabby!
My kiddos were nagging for corn dogs for dinner. The State Fair corn dogs weren't in the budget. I was nervous about these, but they're not bad at all! They're not as sweet as the State Fair corn dogs, but I actually prefer them this way. Not to mention I get to be "The Best Mom EVAR" for a few hours. :)

At the Fair
Part of being at the Fair is the corn dogs. Didn't know what it was but had to have them as soon as we got there. I had been waiting at least 10 min in a long line when I noticed one of the workers pushing a dolly filled with boxes of, you guessed it, Bar S Corn Dogs. Only difference is they have 3 sizes. Classic, Jumbo and now Colossal. So I guess I can have the Fair experience at home! But where to get that Colossal???

I got these because they were cheaper than the competing brand. I thought they would be similar but I was surprised how they weren't. The competing brand's batter had a much different cooked batter texture to it, it was firmer, which I prefer. The Bar-S batter cooks real soft. I tried cooking it longer and that helps a little but I think I'll pay the little extra just to get the competing brand's corn dogs.
