Barbara's Puffins, Breakfast Cereal, 10 oz

They are hard to find where i live but i do enjoy them when i can finally get them. The cinnamon flavor is very satisfying. The texture is very different and i enjoy it, might not be for everyone because it's not like Captain crunch or anything similar. The sweetness is perfect, allot of cereal is way too sweet for me so this is a welcome difference.

Cinnamon Puffins should be Gluten Free. I guess you would have to get ingredients that were not cross contaminated. At your price point this would be easy to do. Kind of disappointing that you can't figure out how to do that. I would buy them again if you fixed this.

For years I have eaten Puffins cinnamon cereal daily and all of the sudden everything about it changed. The flavor, size, shape, texture and probably ingredients are different. It WAS the best cereal I've ever eaten, not too sweet, stayed crunchy in milk, perfect amount of cinnamon.. just the crunchiest most satisfying cereal. I even ate it dry as a snack. And all of a sudden in July 2026 I bought a box that noticeably shrunk in size, the cereal pieces are also smaller and rectangular in shape not square, they barely have any cinnamon on them, they get soggy quickly and they're just completely different. Why would they take perfection and botch it up?! It's not good anymore. They've cheapened it and it's just awful. I will never buy this cereal again unless they go back to the original formula. If they do, I hope they announce on the box so I'll know it's safe to buy again.

I have purchased Puffins cereal for years and was disappointed to discover yet another formula change. The switch from corn flour to degermed corn meal and the addition of seed oils have noticeably changed the product, and not for the better. Customers willing to pay a premium price for cereal do so because they value quality ingredients and consistency. Unfortunately, both seem to have been sacrificed. This no longer feels like the product I originally enjoyed, and I will not be purchasing it again.

I love cereal but not the cheap ingredients they are using now. I was willing to buy this one because the ingredients were better, I loved how strong the cinnamon was and that it is not super sweet. It has been my only cereal for years. So, I immediately noticed the lighter colored cereal on the box but hoped it was just a printing issue. But, no, it is lighter in color, less cinnamon and a different formula. It tastes sweeter now without the cinnamon and I am very disappointed in this brand. Of course, this reduced quality is not reflected in a cheaper price. I hope they make the right choice and go back to the original formula.
