Barbie: Big City, Big Dreams Dorm Room Playset with Furniture & Accessories, 3 to 7 Years

I bought these for my 8yr old granddaughters when they come over to play at Grandmas house. They absolutely enjoy them! They're built very sturdy, the accessories are abundant and adorable. My granddaughters never get bored making up lots of storylines and redesigning multiple ways. If you have children who like Barbie this is a must have. Buy with confidence.

great christmas gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loves this set! She has so much fun thinking of creative little stories for the Barbies. She puts them to bed each night before going to bed herself. The only downside is there's quite a few little pieces (as is with most Barbies) but no cute way to store them so she doesn't lose any. She hates having to stick everything in plastic baggies as they aren't cute.

Parts are small; always be careful of the age restrictions. Also, be prepared that the kids will lose these parts quickly!

Bought this for my niece (4), and she liked the items and furniture, but disliked the included cardboard backdrop. Once the backdrop was accidentally destroyed by her brother, she resorted to using our dining table as Barbie's dorm, and now she stores most of the items in Barbie's dream closet so they won't be lost. Set includes entertainment center, TV, laptop, remote, potted plant, book, two beds with blanket sheets, one bean bag-type chair and ottoman, one couch, a clock, bowl of popcorn, some pillows, and snacks, and other items. Fun items and furniture for imaginative play, but a proper folding playset to store all the items would've been ideal. With this set being higher priced than the dream closet, I'd only recommend buying this if you really want to have the furniture and fun doll items, since the backdrop and actual "setting" of this playset is not sturdy plastic, and could rip at any moment.

The seller cancelled my order so they could then resale this item at a much higher price. I was able not find this product at Target for a much cheaper price.
