Barbie Busy Gal Doll

This doll was everything I thought it would be in packaging, resemblance accuracy to original in style, appearance and in its fashion statement of the early time period of Barbie...I sought this item as a replacement purchase...do not recommend for young girls to play only for COLLECTING or display...

Even in early years Barbie represented an emancipated women who had reached many goals, started working as Fashion Designer, in the golden age of Fashion, not the most common career for women during 50's and 60's. This 2019 Busy Gal Barbie is lovely, the dress and the doll are well made. She is good to start a new collection or just for the fun to dream how Barbie was at the begin.

I just took these photos. I want to show them because she is truly one of the best #1 Reproduction Barbie Dolls. She has all the things we collectors love about vintage Barbie. Her complexion is worth noting, very beautiful. Her make-up looks so great that she can substitute for that all elusive #1 that we all wish and dream of someday finding in our collections. I am going to put her in a "zebra" swimsuit for display because I love the stand and want to display her as a #1. (I'm keeping my other Barbie in the box. Yes, I got 2!) The Brunette hair color is also an excellent choice and echos of the vintage Barbie rarity of that color. I think she will be an excellent choice for all collectors. I am so happy with the 60th Anniversary Barbie Dolls! Thank you so much Mattel.

I am 68 and still love Barbie! I was shopping for Christmas ideas and came across Busy Gal and immediately felt nostalgic. When she arrived I couldn't wait to open the box. I was very happy with the quality of the detailed dress and accessories, packing and Barbie herself. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The price was good too!

Gotta love this doll. Classic head sculpt and paint. Classic body. The ASOLUTE BEST LEGS AND STAND! I really believe all Barbies' should have these legs and stands. I've broken a couple by them falling off their stands and scratched others using bought stands. They're so much more artistically presentable and graceful looking in this fashion. I like the attention to detail, especially in the wardrobe. Overall, I think this reproduction is excellent for the price. But I slightly prefer the facial details and the Silkstone texture of the dolls in the Barbie Fashion Model Collection.

I do like this doll. I only gave it 4 stars as I was disappointed that the box it came in was so generic. Really wish they had used the retro package as they have done in the past.

Quality of product is not the problem, Walmart shipping centers are the problem. This gift arrived at our home opened, and damaged severely. Thank God the inner box of the actual product was held in was fine.

The Doll is great, the mailing sucked. The boxed came all smashed was just put in a delivery boxed without any tissue paper or anything to protect it. Jeers to Wal-Mart
