Barbie Dreamtopia Mermaid Doll with Twinkle Light-Up Tail and Purple-Streaked Hair

This mermaid doll is exactly what my 6 year old great-granddaughter wanted for her birthday. She is delighted with the light up features of this doll. She has carried with her night and day since she received it. Of, course, that makes me very happy that I bought it for her.

This mermaid Barbie is super cute. I got it for my niece as she was having a mermaid themed birthday. Only issue was that after I purchased it, I found it on another site for a few bucks cheaper.

The doll appears to be a novelty item that illuminates only when a button is pressed. Contrary to the description, it does not automatically illuminate when submerged in water. The illumination requires manual activation by pressing the button.

Was so excited this was back in stock but not happy that the package of the mermaid is broken on the bottom of it and very sharp if I wouldn't of seen it my daughter could of cut herself on the package

Most of the time Walmart gets it right but.....not this time.....I received this doll a few days ago, did not get a chance to really check it out for a few days, discovered the box was all open and the button you press to make the mermaid light up does not work, it is meant to be a Christmas gift and the whole thing is in very shoddy condition, I need either a refund or a new one that actually looks new in the packaging and the doll itself....

Not as pictured. I ordered the African American doll. I was sent the Caucasian doll instead. 👎🏽 I didn't want to disappoint my granddaughter as she wanted a doll that resembles her.

The button to light up the mermaid was extremely difficult to push, if an adult has difficulty how hard would it be for a child? I actually bought 3 dolls and 2 were almost impossible to light up.
