Pick one up at store, to see it first.
Better to go to a store and pick one up because we ordered this one, and when it arrived she just didn't look the same. Her hair was all flat and matted down. It made her less appealing.

Could be better
I think they could have done a better job on the appearance of the Barbie face. Nothing really stands out to suggest the Barbie is Down syndrome

Cute doll
I wish she came with leggings as the dress is so short. She is pretty and I appreciate the representation so much. It would also be nice to have a second outfit, like jeans and a T-shirt.

original packaging for both dolls were damaged on the bottom. I could not gift one out. I will just keep both for self.

Face is not "down-syndrome enough"
Down syndrome Barbie is just not down-syndrome enough. Her face does not represent the syndrome correctly--it's not exaggerated enough. The doll itself is made well and the $8 price is reasonable; she's just not on par with typical down-syndrome facial characteristics.

Not a Down syndrome doll
I appreciate that the Down syndrome wasn't over pronounced, as to be offensive. But the picture on the box looks more Down syndrome then the doll. She looks like any other Barbie.
