Barbie Fashionistas Doll #214 with Twist 'n' Turn Dress

Lovely doll. She has a good likeness to the product photo, but I think she's prettier in person. The face printing is well centered. I've seen others post photos online of this doll and she seems to be consistent in looks and always has her printed face properly centered. I do wish Mattel started making all dolls with fixed elbows have one bent arm. When both arms are straight, it can be a bit disappointing for kids to try to do or have the doll act out certain things --like eating or holding a baby or other activities where a stretched out arm doesn't work. I feel this way about the Chelsea dolls too.

The packaging is modern and sophisticated, and the doll it self is stunning, with impeccable style and a trendy outfit. My 8-year-old daughter, Safina, instantly fell in love with this doll. She has always liked Barbie dolls and enjoys engaging in craft activities. Upon receiving Barbie Fashionistas 214, Safina was overjoyed and immediately decided to create a paper dress and a miniature house for her new doll. It's heartwarming to see how this doll has sparked her creativity and imagination. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loves this doll. She can't get over the fact that there is a Barbie that looks like her. Representation absolutely matters. It is important that our children are proud to be themselves. This Barbie is well made like all Barbies are, so no surprise there. My daughter doesn't want this doll to leave her side. She goes to sleep with it and keeps it within sight when she showers.

This beauty has a newer face sculpt dated 2022 on the back of her head. She has the petite fashionista body with flat feet. She articulates at the neck shoulders and hips only. While I am not a fan of the lack of articulation, it seems to work well for the little hands of my 5 year old. The dress has a shimmery pattern and is a fun nod to the 60's TNT doll. I think the pink hair underneath the black hair is a fun touch. I am seriously considering getting another one of these for myself and popping her head on to a Made to Move body. In my opinion, this doll is a win for kids and collector's alike!

This Barbie doesn't come with anything extra but her hair and outfit makes her fun to play with. Her face is beautiful and doesn't look like any other Barbie.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the fashionista doll a few days ago, once my 5 year old granddaughter saw it she immediately wanted to start playing with her! Very nice addition to the barbie fashionista series of dolls for the 65th anniversary set. The doll is very cute, it has nice long dark two tone hair with a cute red bow in it, her outfit is nice and shimmery with coloured pokeadots throughout. In my opinion, this doll is a nice addition to anyone's collection of Barbie's, the doll will give hours of play time enjoyment to any little girl!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trendy with the hair color and definitely different than the original “Barbie” showing diversity! The hairband is nice to show our daughter how she can do her hair to have her hair out of her face. The height is nice to show everything can be nice in different sizes. The only thing is I wish this came with some shorts to complete the outfit as she has some very nice high top sneakers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a ‘simple' doll, this one hits the mark. I'm not saying all dolls need to be packed with accessories, quite the opposite. Most accessories (shoes, purses, etc) are lost or vacuumed with days. The simplicity of this doll was my favorite aspect. Unfortunately, I did take issue with the clothing. I'm 38 years old. Knowing that, I was not fond of the lack of shorts, either fabric or imprinted. It's not something my toddler would notice, so not a deal breaker.
