We bought this for our 6 yr old and we as a family LOVE IT!!! She can handle the horse and enjoys the adventures the game offers. She can play it alone and we play it as a family. It reads the adventures for you and you can read along with it, so works for kids that can't read yet and ones that can. A++++ GAME!!! A JOY for the whole family!

Great game! It's better than the GameBoy version I grew up playing on my Nintendo DS.

I was a little concerned this game would be too "young" for my 9 year old daughter, but she loves the game, it's ANYTHING but boring, and it's definitely challenging. I would NOT recommend this game for 5 and 6 year olds because of the gross and fine motor skills needed for the game. Glad I purchased this product!

My nine-year-old daughter LOVES horses, so I thought she'd like this Wii game. Turns out, she absolutes LOVES this game!! She has lots of fun with it, and after a few weeks her enthusiasm for it hasn't diminished in the least!! Priced at only fifteen bucks, it's a real bargain compared to most of the Wii games. Even though my daughter is pretty much growing out of Barbie, she thoroughly enjoys this game.

This is a great game for younger children learning to use the Wii and WiMote. It guides you through everything and is pretty easy tko learn. My 7 1/2 year old who doesn't play much video games finished the game in 4 days and is on her 2nd time thru.

My daughter recently received this as a birthday present, she's 5, way too young for this, she's having a very difficult time figuring out how to work the control to make Barbie move, I've ended up playing it so she can watch & see what it does. I think I slightly older child 7 or 8 would love this, my little girl will too once she grows into it.

My 7 year old daughter likes this game. It took you learn how to control the horse. Now that she can figured it out, she loves the game.

I got this for my daughter who is five. She loves Barbie, and loves horses more than that!! It is too complicated and difficult for her to understand. She gets frustrated because it is hard to manuver the horse to where she wants it. I have a hard time with it as well, but I havent played video games since the original Nintendo came out. I think it is a great game, just for ages 7 or 8+. It has riding lessons and you must take care of your horse by feeding it and grooming it. Barbie earns points that can by her new outfits (of course she has to be stylish) and things for her horse. Overall this is a great game for the money, just not for little ladies!

I bought this game for my 4 1/2 year old. It is too difficult for her to play. The horse is too hard to maneuver. I will keep it for when she is older to see if she will like it then but this is definitely for kids age 7and up.
