As a Hunger Katniss fan, this doll is spot on! I just want to keep her in the box and display it proudly. The doll comes with its own doll stand so you can display her on shelves, desks, coffee tables, etc. The details of her outfit are cool. She has boots on and the bow in her hand. Her suit is nice too with the mockingjay pin on the upper left chest. I wish the color of the pin would stand out a little more to make it more apparent. Her hair is super thick and stiff in a braid. As a Barbie collector, I'm excited to purchase this Barbie in the hunger game version. This doll is absolutely stunning, and is truly identical to Jennifer Lawrence. I've read all the books and seen all the movies. This doll was is pretty close to the real thing. The black outfit is very nice and makes Katniss look very strong and powerful. It even has the mocking jay pin. The hair is very pretty, has a thick long fishtail braid swept to the side. I did want the bows to come out one by one but it's not. Also on her right hand it has a painted hand guard vs. a real one that can be removed. This would be a collector piece and I do not plan to take it out of the box. I am Hunger Games fan, and find this doll to be overall a great collector's doll, but may not be a doll that young kids can play much with. For collector's audience, this doll is good addition to their collection if they Katniss because the doll almost come to life looking very much like Katniss with a bow and nice outfit. However, when I got this doll, I first offered it to my young niece who like all Barbie dolls, but she didn't find this doll appealing much to her because she can't really take the bow apart to play with it...so this is back on my collector's shelf. Although I was not too happy about all the things that happened in the Hunger Games series I can totally admire Katniss for her character and bravery. I think this Barbie totally captures just that and it is definitely something I would like to resonate and empower with the younger generation (that females can be strong and bold).
