Barbie National Geographic Polar Marine Biologist Doll

I brought this doll for my adult daughter who is a Barbie doll collector. My mom passed a few years ago and my daughter has fond memories of the national geographic magazines coming to my mom's home and watching national geographic on t.v. I thought this doll would be a constant reminder of those wonderful memories she has with my mom whom she misses dearly. This is an extremely beautiful doll with accessories that include sunglasses and a penguin. My daughter also appreciates the fact that Barbie made an African American doll that portrays African American Women in such a positive light.

Very cute set! My kiddos love this Barbie set, especially the cute little penguin. We've purchased several of the National geographic Barbies and they have all been really great!

Great value for Doll and accessories!

I bought this for my granddaughter who lives in a very rural area. She told me the only 2 things she knew women could be were teachers or nurses, though I have my MBA and work in finance. I guess at her age seeing a doll with career choices is easier than seeing professionals in real life.

I am always searching for Barbie's that are different and unique, and this one certainly didn't disappoint. Her facial details are so beautiful. The outfit was detailed with the patch on the jacket which made the Barbie more interesting. She is surely ready to go outdoors on an adventure with the adorable penquin that was included with her. I purchased this Barbie as a gift and I was truly delighted. I search for different Barbie's all the time for different occasions and will most definitely be back again. Walmart always make Barbie's more affordable to give as gifts and to add to any collection.
