So I'm buying Barbies for my 2 year old granddaughter.. not to play with, but to store away for many years. I'm thinking what a nice treat to have from your Gigi when your 30 years old. This Barbie is Holiday 2022 in a beautiful red gown. I cannot open the box, but it presents well. (Still nothing like my Barbies from the 60's… wishing I kept those). My first order came in a broken box, and was delivered in a plastic Walmart bag. (excuse me?) I contacted Walmart.. and they responded

Pretty face, but overall, this Barbie lacked a lot of detail on the dress, and her hair was rolled up to her neck, and literally glued. I had to carefully unroll her hair to try to break up the glue spray to form her hairstyle the way it was supposed to be. Because of the fact she was the 2022 model and not expensive, it was worth it to keep her, butI will be adding detail to her dress that should have already been there. Mattel needs to upgrade their designs on some of these dolls and make sure quality control is in place.

The doll arrived in a package that looked like it had been runover or smashed by a very very heavy object. You can see the package had deep skiff marks and the collector was totally smashed the doll itself appears to have been smashed but the heavy amount of product in it hair seems to help it survive. There was absolutely no protection and it was in a bag and not a box with air pillows like cheap Barbie's we get from Walmart arrive in. I have never been more disappointed nor has my daughter. Totally un acceptable. Totally not a collector doll any more.

I bought this to add to my daughter's collection. When opened it has multiple places where the box is damaged, including tears on the box, box and plastic is dented. This is very disappointing that a new item was sent like this. I was in the hospital for a while when it was received and did not open it until recently.

I keep the Holiday Barbies in the box as a collector item. The box came opened and ripped and dented. I asked for a replacement - one that wasn't ripped and the 2nd one came worse than the first one. The doll inside is not damaged. But the fact that I keep them in the box makes it very frustrating.
