Barbie Signature 65th Anniversary Collectible Doll with Blonde Hair and Black and White Gown

I am so thrilled I was able to catch a super sale on this 65th Anniversary doll. This doll is one of my girls favorite, they tend to love the unique hair (this with twisted braids) and Ariel with her braids. They are the only ones that I agreed to swop bodies on, for the more deluxe articulated bodies. Head swapping per MyFroggieStuff blogs. Simple process, yet can be challenging with potential to break the dolls neck. I just remove the head once the plastic is nice and soft from the hot boiling water, then slowly roll it apart. Sometimes I need the help of a sturdy, grip, long nose pliers. Once done the girls seems to not put the doll down, they tend to be their favorite dolls. The formal black and white gown is placed on another stationary doll. The doll also comes with beautiful shear black long (above the elbow) gloves with black bows on the top, silver with blue sapphire earrings, blue glass sunglasses, high heel sandals and a stand. So getting all that for $18.50 was a great price vs. the advertised market price. When I first received it, I thought Walmart had sent the wrong doll, due the Mattel's sturdy glued cardboard box with “BARBIE 65th BLUE SAPPHIRE ANNIVERSARY DOLL” printed on box. The pink paper label did not read any different. Sapphire? Really, just due to the 65th anniversary gem! There is a blonde Barbie doll version too. I do wish Mattel could give the actual name and description on the box. Since buy as presents months ahead and most of their deluxe dolls in the Mattel cardboard boxes are not easy to decipher, especially when a Ken doll is in a “Barbie doll” printed box! I always appreciate Walmart sending the Mattel box in a Walmart shipping box; so that the Mattel cardboard boxes stay's prestige for when giving as a gift to a collector.

She was sold out the first time I saw her. I was happy to see her again; and the bonus- she was on sale. Lucky Me-Twins. Dress is of great quality, display with head from body donee a Barbie Style Brooklyn.

I love her so much! I'll admit I was definitely influenced by dolll YouTube. Specifically, My Froggy Stuff. When I saw this beautiful Black 65th anniversary doll, I didn't think I'd be able to afford her, but I was patient %26 looked for sales. If I missed my chance, I knew I'd regret not getting her. Thank you for selling her for $36!!! The normal price of $65 wasn't obtainable for me. I love that I can finally have my very 1st Brooklyn Barbie. I'm so glad it's this one. She's perfect %26 classic Black Barbie.

Doll and packaging is in excellent condition. No complaints.

I'm dissatisfied and disappointed with the rip on the box. i wasn't expecting to open the shipper box and see the box is ripped as im a inbox doll collector

Worst experience in shipping ever. Shipment took too long to receive and when I received it I opened it in the UPS store and it wasn't the correct doll in the box.. These sellers who try to scam people should have their accounts banned . Then I couldn't return it at Walmart I had to drive 8 miles to the nearest FED EX That was open on a Saturday because the one in Walmart is closed on the weekend (weird) Inconvenience cost me gas and time and NO! Walmart gave me nothing for inconvenience. Be careful ordering y'all ; because this was ridiculous. I wanted to give this zero stars

Where are the sunglasses?? I purchased 2 of these anniversary dolls. I've only opened one of the boxes. NO SUNGLASSES!! The other one is a Christmas gift. I can only assume there will not be sunglasses in that one either! VERY, VERY, EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED!!

Item box received tampered with and ripped. Held by tape. Very sad and disappointed. I was looking forward to add this item to my collection.

One star is because of the shipping. The doll itself is beautiful. It was shipped in a plastic envelope without any padding. It came with the box crushed and torn. This is a collectible Barbie that I paid a premium price for. Unfortunately the value is completely diminished because of the damaged box. Walmart will ship a can of beans in a box with wrap. P
