Thomas Train is standing up well to the not-so-gentle play of a 2 year old. The train will travel on almost any surface including carpet. The track with tilt Bridge was easy to assemble, will need to save the diagram in case we take it apart. Compatible with an older Thomas Train set. Good value for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls were very excited to start playing with the Barbie Birthday play set. They usually made up their own pieces and decorations, so having actual cake and presents was very exciting for them. The pieces are sturdy and well made, and the flower decoration pieces fit nicely into peg holes. They had fun sticking the flag stickers to the stand, but were confused on where to use the rest of the 8 ribbon stickers, since there weren't any instructions for that. They ended up just sticking them in various places to decorate the stand. They loved the present box and the gift pieces, but got a little frustrated that the top doesn't stay closed very well. If it's get turned a little sideways it opens and the items kept falling out. They enjoyed playing with everything, but in terms of interacting with the pieces and enhancing their play experience, they wished few things could be different. They wished the tiered cake could be disassembled so that they could pretend to make the tiered cake. Also thought the cake should have a spot where the slice of cake came out of, and the cake slice should be able to be detached from the plate as well. Overall, the Barbie birthday play set is a great addition to enhance play time.
