Barcalounger Danbury Recliner

Purchased two recliners a few weeks before Christmas. We did not expect them until next week, but they arrived two weeks early. The color was exactly what we expected. Quality appears to be very good but only time will tell. We are very satisfied with this purchase.

Wonderful chair! I bought the navy blue. The color is beautiful, and everything I hoped it would be. Very well made!!

Great chair great quality

I purchased two of the same chairs for our great room. They look exactly like the photos on the internet. They arrived in a timely matter and in great condition. They were in large cardboard containers and were in two pieces ""Backs were seperate from the rest of the chair"" so we had to have help holding up the heavy back and line up with metal brackets in the seat/we managed. The negative part of these chairs: When you lean back to ""lounge"" and the foot-rest pops up, the chairs go all the way in a laying position. No matter what we tried to make them stay in differnet positions, they wouldn't. So, you either sit straight up with your feet on the floor or you lay down. I have been shopping for chairs for 3 months and because we love the look of the chairs with the rest of our furniture we are keeping them and will try to modify the metal attaching brackets and make them work for us.

The Danbury is a beautiful, well constructed recliner. It was very well packaged, and the delivery guys were great. I purchased it at a very good price. The actual color is very dark brown, instead of the lighter, distressed brown which would have matched my beautiful leather furniture perfectly. I can deal with the color. My main problem is that it doesn't have three positions as advertised; only two. I either have to sit up with my legs dangling, while my feet go numb, or lay all the way down in a sleeping position. Like the others, I will keep it, since I would have to pay return postage. You also have to use the original box which is huge. My husband put it immediately in the recycle.

The recliner is well constructed and very comfortable, but the color is not what is represented on the website. Very disappointing!!
