I really wanted to love these bottles but just couldn't. After the first day I got the hang of how these work. Make sure you push up directly in the center of the plunger at the bottom or it will leak. These bottles are a great concept, but unless you constantly stop feeding after every sip you will always have some air in the bottle. The nipples are soft which are nice however they have several holes in them, which makes the milk gush out really fast. It took my baby some getting use to because it was running all down her face from the flow speed. If you still have milk in the bottle after feeding that you want to save, or add more to it you have to push the plunger down and sometimes it is difficult to get it back down and the milk starts leaking out of the top seal from the pressure. I switched to these bottles from the Playtex ventair ones which worked great. I would choose the Playtex ventair bottles over these.

I have been having struggles with my exclusively breastfed baby taking a bottle, Ive at least 5 or 6 different bottles. She refused all of them I resorted all way the down to giving her milk from a medicine dropper. I found Bare bottles and got the perfect latch I was hesitant becauSe of the price was this going To be another bottle my baby rejects! Nope!!! She takes it. I believe its the nipple like simulation the bottle gives that my baby even allows me to feed her the bottle sometimes. It hasnt been 100% proof there are still some times she rejects it because she rather the breast but over all she is accepting and it works now I feel comfortable about returning to work or having a night out or a glass of wine. The only thing I dont like is if something isnt assembled correctly it will leaked before I got the hang of assembling the bottle I would leak a lot of milk which was frustrating because of all my hard work pumping. I think as the company develops so will the bottles .... this will be my go too bottle for the remainder of our breastfeeding journey .

The bottles are great and really do prevent air. However they don't heat up well. I would suggest heating the formula or breast milk separately and then adding. If you push too fast it tilts and leaks. You definitely have to pay attention to the instructions. I recommend a baby who enjoys sitting up as mine does not.

I think the design is good. But unfortunately I would not recommend for newborn. Almost immediately my babe was coughing from the flow.

The ads made these bottles look like they were the next best thing. I bought a starter set and have been super disappointed. I've tried multiple times to get them to work like it shows on the video but they always leak. My baby sucked down the milk in like 60 seconds. The first time we used it the milk leaked all over. There's always air in it after they begin feeding. Maybe it's due to the three holes at the top of the nipple. The company does not offer any guarantee or returns. --if you are determined to try them, you can take mine :-). Dr browns have always been my favorite and will remain my favorite.
