When the Pillow-Top Premium Mattress Pad - 1.5 Inch Cooling Down Alternative Polygel Filled Micro plush Super-Soft Hypoallergenic Topper arrived, it did not look that puffy in its packaging. However, once I cut open the vacuum bag open that it was in, it grew to a very puffy mattress pad. One thing I noticed was there was no awful smell when it was opened. I know sometimes things of this nature can have a smell that needs airing out. But, this had no smell. There is a lot to say about this pad. Not only does it protect your expensive mattress, it gives that mattress a whole new life in that it gives a pillow top type of comfort. By the way, it does not state if it's waterproof or even water resistant. However, there is a full 1.5 inch padding, so any accidents caught early probably won't go all the way through. It's like laying on a cloud! VERY COMFORTABLE! There is a “flannel “ type side to use in the cooler seasons and a smooth side to use in the warmer seasons. This will solve the problem of having two different mattress pads. The skirt of the pad is sturdy but can fit very deep mattresses. Also, this type of skirt is good at holding a fitted sheet in place. It does not shift around once the pad is placed properly. I have not washed it yet, but, the instructions say it can be washed in the delicate cycle in a washer and tumble dried on low. To me, it seems it should wash up nicely. I would definitely recommend this mattress pad to anyone who wants to bring new life to an old mattress or just likes to feel like they are sleeping on a cloud. Keep in mind, it isn't waterproof, though.

Hello, Folks. I received my mattress pad today via FedEx. Once again, Walmart's projected date, August 6th, of delivery was bested. I put the pad on the bed and laid on it without a sheet. it fits well. Then, I put the sheet on, and the sheet fits well on top of the pad. The pad feels great. I'm glad I bought it. I hope to have many nights of good sleep.

Generous fit for deep-pocket mattress. Super soft cushiony feel padding. My hard mattress is now comfortable and I an sleeping so much better. Well worth the price.

Ive never had one of these. We got it to go on top of the foam topper. Its like sleeping on clouds it completely changed our bed! It also was here a week early only took 2 days to get here

Great matress pad. Description says it's reversible, I'm currently using the winter/fluffy side. It's the extra layer of softness I was looking for. I will be curious to see when I flip it in the summer if it will truly be "cooling" as description claims.

Glad I bought this for our new queen mattress gives you the hotel comfort feeling also may I add it protects your bed from spills! I had an incident where my dog had an accident on our bed I was so worried her urine had soaked through and to my amazement this pillow top absorbed the whole urine not one drop made onto the mattress I highly recommend this pillow-top!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pillow top bed topper! We've only used the soft fleece side so far, so not sure what the reversible side feels like. But the fleece side is so comfortable. I was worried that because of the material, I'd over heat at night but so far I have not gotten over heated at all. My husband also says he loves this bed topper as well. I highly recommend buying this product, it is defiantly worth the investment.

Was very nicely made. Reversible. One side for cool weather. One side for warm weather. Fit good very comfortable on bed. Will buy another for my guess room. Love it. Cushioned my body. So comfortable.

I could not believe how heavy the package was and when I opened the mattress cover it had been vacuumed packed so to speak..The texture is great and almost feel like a soft silk or velvet. I like the idea of being cool in the summer and warm in the winter so we shall see how that goes with further testing but so far I am totally comfortable as far as body temperature goes. I know it looks like maybe the squares in the cover would be lumpy but not true, the entire thing is just perfect for a good nights sleep. It could fit a little bit snugger or you could get the elastic things that will pull it tighter on the corners to adjust to the mattress. I guess the bottom line is that I would recommend this to anyone that needs a good night rest on a firmer mattress as this makes you mattress feel perfect.
