bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30, Pecan 05

I really love this product, it looks so good on my skin. I always get comments that I look well when I wear it. It gives good light coverage and just makes you look dewy. I wouldn't use anything else.

The color matches perfectly and just like previous bareMinerals products I've purchased at bareMinerals. Price about 1/2 at bareMinerals store. Photos of old tube vs new below.

This does exactly what I want it to do, it evens out my skin tone and gives my skin colour! I hate loads of coverage so this is perfect!! This paired with the smoothing face brush is a must!!

This product is a game changer! Gives just enough coverage without looking too made up. Feels wonderful on my very mature skin!

This is a great product from BM and is far superior to their new liquid foundation (see my review) Feels silky and leaves a great finish on the skin, for many it would avoid the need for foundation anyway but I find it a good base as I do need a little bit more "clout". Lovely.

I used Clinique's tinted moisturiser for years and it seems to be being discontinued so I needed a replacement. Clarins was a moisturiser with a tint so no good for me as I like to use it for work instead of a full face of make up. This is much more like make up without a heavy feel. I don't feel I need moisturiser under it as I did with the Clinique one either. It also makes a good base for the mineral powder foundation - together they give skin a real glow with natural but good coverage.

I'm not sure if I was unlucky and received a defective product or the product is always like that but the one I received looks as if the content was old, it looks as if the components have separated, the texture is not even (as when milk is out of date...) I have tried many times, shaking the product before using it and it doesn't change much.

After hearing excellent reviews about this product from various websites and YouTube beauty gurus, I decided to try this out in the store with the help of a lady who works there. She applied the tinted cream as well as tinted veil powder to my face, and I must say, it looked very natural and matched my skin tone which I loved! Unfortunately, after a mere 30 minutes, I had an itchy sensation as well as redness developing on my cheeks. I thought that maybe that was due to the powder she had put on but was puzzled as to what was causing the irritation. I brought home a sample of this tinted cream to test out on my skin, and the next day, I decided to test out the cream on its own; I found that this gel cream was causing the slight uncomfortable tingling/ itchy feeling (not the powder). I am not normally allergic or sensitive to makeup or any skincare products, but for some reason, the ingredients used in this product react well with my skin. It's a shame because I really like the texture, the coverage (love sheer makeup!), and the finish (even though I have combination skin - I like the radiant/dewy look) but not itchiness. That being said, I would rate the product itself 5 stars, but the fact that it does not suit my skin, would mean that I rate my experience using this tinted moisturiser as 2 stars. I would still recommend this product to other people because it gives such a nice finish to your skin and makes you look radiant!

I loved how this looked to the point I didn't wash it off despite soreness increasing during the day. Sadly, after taking it off, my under eyes are left sore, red and painful as if burnt. I have very reactive, allergic skin and didn't get on with the original powder from this brand. After day three my face was sore and dry, hence I tried this. I'd recommend it for its beauty on the skin and lasting power.

The complexion rescue WAS my favourite product, I don't know what you've done to it but you've absolutely ruined it. What ha S been changed it about it? It's now impossible to put on as it goes all patchy, blotchy and uneven and it looks greasy!! It's awful what an absolute shame. I won't be buying this again unless it goes back to the way it was. Please pass on my feedback!
