bare Minerals Smoothing Face Brush

I got this brush to use on Bareminerals Complexion Rescue. Love this brush as it has 2 different bristles- short and long which help to put on the tinted moisturizer on face evenly and thinly - a sheer natural look without overdone.

So love this brush, was persuaded to buy in boutique and when i arrived home was bit miffed as on box for new hydration gel it stated Apply with fingers and therefore thought i had spent £24 for nothing HOWEVER after using it, i am so pleased i bought it-the gel goes on so smooth and looks loads better than when applied with fingers, i also use the brush with original powder as i love the texture.

This Smoothing Face Brush complements the Complexion Rescue Tinted Foundation prefectly. It gives a professional flawless result and is the best brush I have used. I also use the Well-Cared Brush Conditioner to keep the brush in good condition.

I use this brush with my blemish remedy foundation, I find it fits the tub very well and applies the foundation smoothly and evenly.

Since applying Complexion Rescue with this brush, I'm using a third to half of what I used before with my fingers. I apply a small amount to the brush and stiple/ lightly dab around my face and then blend it in. Brilliant!

So I bought this brush on a whim after one of the artists in a shop used it to help apply foundation. It was perfect at first, giving me a smooth photo finish look. I've had this brush for about 3 months and now it has gone brittle and stiff. I clean it every 2 weeks with baby oil and baby shampoo but nothing I do can revive it to it's former softness. I was so happy I'd finally found a good brush but now I can't use it at all as it doesn't smooth my face anymore. I don't know if I may have bought a dud brush but I'm really disappointed in this purchase.

This brush is amazing with the Complexion Rescue Cream. It will give you a flawless application and smooth's cream on evenly. This is a brilliant brush with cream foundations.

I brought this brush after a recommendation. Usually I'm a go to make up sponge girl so went out on a whim and brought this brush after seeing the artist use it in store. Very easy to use and blends CR well however I find I prefer using other brushes to this as the brush can go stiff after washing. Still like the brush and thing it works well.

My husband bought me one of these brushes, along with the complexion rescue (CR), for my birthday, which I was very happy about as I'd read such good reviews of both. However, when I applied the CR with the brush all I got were streaky brush marks all over my face, like a bad paint job on a wall! I persevered for a few days, using different techniques, but got the same result. So then I applied the CR without the brush - with my fingers - and it went on perfectly. Very disappointing and a waste of a lot of (his) money. The only thing I can hope is that it comes in useful for something else like bronzer or blusher.

I bought this brush at the same time as I bought the complexion gel, relying on the Bareminerals recommendation that these two should go hand-in-hand. However the brush is far too harsh so just creates lines on the face and pulls the gel off your skin rather than help blend it. It is an expensive brush too and because it's used I can't return it. Huge disappointment and a waste of money.
