[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Head and Shoulders has been around for so many years, it's the staple in anti-dandruff shampoo. I was impressed to see them branching out to produce products with minimal ingredients. I absolutely love that the new shampoo formulation still has the anti dandruff effective pyrithione zinc, but has removed some of the non essential ingredients that just added fluff. It makes for a better shampoo. I always tend to have dry scalp and flakes when winter hits and will often have periods where hair serums and oils just don't cut it. Head and shoulders always works, but I hated all the extra ingredients. This is the perfect compromise. Effective, without all the unnecessary fluff. I also love the packaging. The plastic is much thinner and you can get every last drop of shampoo. The package is actually rollable, which is great. Less plastic is great for the environment as well. The texture is still the same, but there is no fragrance. The shampoo itself is fragrance free, but when you put it on, it smells a little gross. It's hard to describe the smell, but is similar to a stink bug. Thankfully, it doesn't last and the smell goes away once the shampoo is rinsed out. And I can't complain because it certainly is very effective in tackling dandruff and dry scalp. I noticed a difference after only 1 use. I would still give it 5 stars because the smell is temporary, lasting only a few seconds while the shampooing happens. It is very effective though and love the use of minimal ingredients and eco friendly packaging.

thought would be a good replacement for the vanicream PZ since it's on backorder :( broke out my scalp
