Good for oily skin. Goes on matte and stays matte.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this moisturizer and love that it has SPF 30 in it! It's great and how it has a more Matt look which goes with the rest of the makeup that I use. I also love the coverage, and don't necessarily have to wear anything else once I put this on.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is my fav. product i have used BM for 30 years from the early days of infomercials when Leslie introduced the world to clean mineral makeup its my ride or die, so when this was launched i had to try it, and i love it!! its perfect light coverage sunscreen is a perfect companion to all my other BM products Im a true user I don't use any other brands of makeup, and have always get compliments on my skinIll be 53 this year and have worked in the sun all my life and using BM has always gave me the added SPF thats so important to keeping your skin looking its best!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best product. This is seriously made for moms on the go! I wear it by its self on busy days or wear it under my matte powder foundation when I have a few extra minutes. I love the SPF in it and that it condenses my routine so I don't have to also do moisturizer in the morning. The tube is not my favorite because sometimes near the end of it I squeeze more than I need out but I still love the product and have been using it for years.
I am almost 62 years old, and I'm just getting back in to using makeup again after stopping 15 years ago, when I resigned from my career. Back then the Bare Minerals loose powder were the makeup products I used, and I liked the natural finish it provided, so these days, Bare Minerals it is! I have olive skin, and over those 15 years, my skin color, texture and elasticity have changed significantly, and fine wrinkles certainly have crept in to the mix. This is why I felt that the Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30 foundation would best suit my needs. I struggled with finding the right color match as I am not as tan as I used be, so I communicated with the live human being consultant here, for help, and after answering a couple questions she recommended the perfect match! I do have combination skin with large pores, and I'm pleased with how well this product somewhat "blurs" my pores and fine wrinkles. (Just avoid using a magnifying mirror. 😅) As I have aged, small capillaries and mild redness have developed on my skin, and this product covers them quite nicely without color corrector and/or concealer. This tinted moisturizer is buildable for the desired coverage up to medium coverage, it looks natural, not cakey after it dries, and it has a "barely there" feel. I have seriously dark under eye circles from sleep issues, so color corrector and concealer is a must for me personally to cover those dark circles. I do recommend applying a nice even layer of the Bare Minerals Mineral Veil setting powder to finish off your routine. (This is not a compensated endorsement 😅)Do be sure to shake the tube before use. Otherwise coverage will be very splotchy. I found that out the hard way. 🤦 Fortunately I'm still in the experimental stage. 😅 I just have to *remember* to shake it, as I have never had to shake foundation before. I do recommend this tinted moisturizer. I am very pleased with it over traditional foundation for my mature skin. 🙂
I have used many different spf tinted moisturizer in the past but when I discovered Bare Mineral complexion rescue I found the best. I dont break out when using this product. The matte formula is very effective and the tint is just right. Last all day color and protection.
I have used this product a few times and have not found it to cover well. Not sure what happens with it but I usually apply moisturizer first and then the product but it does not go on smooth. Excess likes to “roll” up into little balls and not go into my skin. It ends up looking cakey.
This is the worst makeup product I have ever purchased! I have tried my fingers, a brush and a sponge to apply. Also, with and without moisturizer and primer. It simply will not blend. I shake it vigorously as well. I regularly exfoliate my face and use other skin products at night. I definitely should have returned it but I kept trying with no success!
This was indicated as a substitute for Bare Minerals BB Cream, now discontinued. A disappointment! This has hardly any pigment in it, extremely light coverage. In addition the BB Cream was spf 40 and this product is spf 30. I was a longtime user of the BB Cream and will not be reordering this product.
This product was slimy, Additionally, I purchased the color recommended to me by the Bare Minerals site based on my foundation choice, and it was too dark and had an orange tint. It looked trumpian, and very unattractive. I had to throw out the entire tube. Very disappointed.
