Bareroot Rio Samba Hybrid Tea Rose Live Shrub with Full Sun- 2 Piece

I keep reading negative reviews on the roses sold by Walmart. I seldom write reviews, but I felt I had to offset the negative sentiments. I bought 9 rose bushes, which I received 5/22/25. They are all alive %26 thriving. I will copy this review to all the different ones since I will also post photos. Two of the roses are Rio Samba. One of them (my %234) had a slow start, but its very alive %26 growing. The 2nd (my %235) has flowers. The date of the photos is 6/25/25, which shows a 1 month growth.

The only problem was that only ONE of them is a 'Rio Samba', which was quickly evident when they began blooming--but Walmart just as quickly made it right. However, the one Rio Samba I got is stunning!!! This rose is like having may different ones, as it changes daily, progressing from light yellow to fuscia pink. My father in law had one years ago in MS, and it was the most beautiful rose bush I've ever seen! It grew to at least 5' high and 4' diameter--and was a riot of color all summer. I've never forgotten it, and was shopping for one when I discovered these. I have another one coming and I'm sure to be thrilled with it, too!!!

This 2 pack of roses came in beautifully wrapped and in great condition. Highly recommend %26 plan on buying other colors.

plants came in bigger than i expected and had new growth on them. Ive had them in a pot since we got cold weather recently, and they are growing so well. i cant wait to see them bloom

The order was a double pack. One is just starting to bud while the other looks dead. I have been keeping a close eye on both of them since March when I received them. The one pictured below is the one that looks dead.

the color in the picture is not the color I got, because they're mainly yellow. I picked them, because of the phone. It was its first bloom, so hopefully they will start looking like the photo when it gets a little hotter down here or maybe not enough sun.

i bought 4 of these only 2 of them lived....i planted them all the same so maybe just 2 bad ones who knows

1 of 2 did not bloom at all. the one that is blooming is actually growing quite quickly, leading me to believe i got a dud so 3 stars for that.

Unfortunately, these came black and dead, and covered in spiders. I didn't order the spiders. They were quite a surprise. I can't recommend these roses unless you are into dead things covered in arachnids. I won't judge you if you are.

Very disappointing! Once it finally bloomed it was a sad, little yellow rose. No defined center. Just ugly
