I am diabetic. I've already have had amputation on one foot. right now I have an infection in my right foot my edema is acting up. it feels good to be able to wear a shoe that is not tight on my foot you can adjust it. I highly recommend the shoes. being able to adjust the with that velcro is great great.
Had bone fusion. Walmart %26 Amazon have serviced me well with all my healing aids.
Real comfortable. only thing is the strap. it only connects to the side of the shoe. At 73 I have a hard time reaching over to attach it. I would have preferred a strap on the side that came up over the side of the shoe. that attached more on the top.
Very comfortable for the price! Are adjustable on the top as well as the strap! The strap part is a little too elastic--when tightened as far as velcro will allow, the end of strap hits the ground, shoes slip when wearing--I manually adjusted %26 sewed the closed side so it would be tighter, now feel really nice!
I like these Mary Janes but I took off a star because the Velcro strip is not long enough to be able to adjust the fit at the instep down to a size medium as I had hoped. I wear a medium width but these do not come in medium. I am wearing them anyway but have to clomp around in them in a sort of comical way. I hope the company reads these reviews and will consider offering a medium size but with the same wide adjustable toe box or at least make the Velcro strip longer so the instep can be tightened. As far as the appearance goes, I bought the plain black Mary Janes and I think they look just fine. I only use them as house slippers but would not be embarrassed to wear them in town.
BareRun Mary Jane slip on shoes were just too big for me as I have narrow feet. They would be good for wide feet and for people with diabetes. I liked the color and style, which made them to wear for casual attire. They were comfortable and easy to slip on. Also could be washed, as needed.
I really wanted them to be kind of cute and very comfortable. They did not meet expectations. They're not cute they're functional. As to being comfortable, surprisingly there's something in the left toe area, that is very uncomfortable.
Fits one foot perfectly. The other foot, with bunion and hammertoe: way too short and narrow . Not the shoe's fault, but not accommodating for my needs.
They are not what I wanted. Not happy with them.
They're cute but…don't fit as expected. One heel is cut lower and will not stay on foot. Returned and bought a second pair. Sent the wrong size which were way to big. Returning again. I'll find something else. Like the Mary Jane type shoes but these just didn't work.
