Please don't ever stop carrying this product! I can't get my daily protein in without it!
It is cold here today in Wisconsin and after a day of Christmas shopping I was hungry and needed something protein rich and warm for a treat. I tried my new Bariatric Pal hot chocolate and honestly I was nervous at first because I could smell the protein when I opened the package. Let me tell you, this hot chocolate is absolutely delicious! In fact my husband wanted a cup of Starbucks salted caramel hot cocoa as well. I made him taste mine and then his and he loved the Bariatric Pal hot cocoa better too! I will be purchasing this again in the future!
I think the plain hot chocolate is one of the best items at Bariatricpal. I have at least one cup a day. It is very filling and really helps with a sweet tooth craving. I mix it with hot water and then microwave it for 45 seconds. It has a great taste, dissolves well with stirring and is most satisfying.
I love the fact that this drink has so little sugar and extra protein, plus it tastes so good. You just need to keep stirring to totally blend the powder. I just ordered 5 new boxes to get me through the next few months. It is a go-to drink after I get home from morning exercise and it is a great evening snack..
I am surprised it actually did not taste bad a little bit on the watery side could use a little more packs in your cup if you do just one pack. I think it's a good replacement for hot cocoa. And it actually takes away the cravings now I did take the Cafe D'Vita I added a tablespoon into it made it not taste as watery and then I added six splendas gave it a good flavor I'll probably definitely buy this one again
I have been looking for an instant hot chocolate that I could drink without spiking my bood glucose too bad. Must have some normalized favorites once in a while on a mega diet. Lost 76 lbs so far and this is the variety that keeps me headed in the right direction.
Love it but when the manufacturer changed the product packaging not I have to use scissors to open it and before I could just tear it. So when I travel I have to remember to pack scissors with it.
I like the decaf cappuccino so much that I had high hopes for this hot chocolate. But, I found the taste disappointing. The sweetness level is just right for me, but the taste isn't chocolately enough. But, the fact that I'm getting protein too is enough for me to give it a 4 out of 5.
I’m not a bari patient but my husband and daughter are, she recommended this hot chocolate so I bought it to try. This was my dinner one night and I was shocked how well this took care of my hunger since this is the time of night when all I want to do is snack. Hopefully this product is what I’ve been looking for to help with the snacking and also satisfy my chocolate craving.
How does this hot chocolate have such good reviews? the taste is ok, although I have to use two packets per 8oz water along with some cream to compare to one packet of swiss miss. Not to mention $11 for 7 packets. Seven packets, when you need to use two at a time to get the same flavor as one packet of any other hot chocolate brand. Granted, you are paying for the proteins, however, you can buy and add your own proteins at a fraction of the cost. Not to mention two weeks for delivery. Still, Im giving it two stars for the protein, and the fact it doesnt taste bad. Its just super watered down, so you will need two packets and also add some cream to match the tastes of your favorite brands. Overall I am pretty disappointed and surprised at all the good reviews.
