I was happy to find a low calorie and low carb oatmeal option. The consistency is not like traditional oatmeal but it has a decent flavor. I added some fresh fruit. It's a nice change for breakfast instead of eggs at this early stage. I will be trying the other flavors.
Texture is great, aroma is like the instant peaches & cream oatmeal of my childhood but there's a weird tang to the flavour. Still a good, easy breakfast or snack. (If you've tried a Proti Diet oatmeal, this BP one has a much better, natural texture.)
I've always loved peaches but I'd never had them in oatmeal so I decided to try this. It is peachy but if I had written this review right after trying it the first time I probably wouldn't have given it as high a score because I prefer brown sugar, maple or apple flavoring in my oatmeal. Giving it another try I added some cinnamon to it and it tasted more like the peach cobbler I love. I think I'm going to use it more as a dessert treat rather than as a breakfast meal. Like the other Bariatric Pal instant oatmeals, the texture is pudding-like with some oats. Note: I see my other reviews for the Maple and Apple flavored oatmeals listed under this as I write this review...I'm not sure why they would be there since this is the only review for the Peach flavor that I have made. I plan to be more specific in my descriptions so that it is more obvious which product I am rating.
I thought it would be more chalky than it was... I use fairlife milk instead of water because I never liked the taste of oatmeal and water.. it was surprisingly good... eventually I got alil sick of it so I added a little more vanilla and cinnamon flavor and that helped a lot...

Taste good, only thing I wish the pack made more.
The peaches and cream was ok, I appreciate being able to get protein in oatmeal with out having to add protein powder which changes texture and taste. It would be improved with a stronger peach taste. I added sugar free canned peaches to up the fkavor
I won’t lie... I did not like the texture Of this oatmeal. It made me feel like i was eating flour with a few specs of oats. This would be awesome for patients right out of surgery that can have soft foods. The taste was just ok. Since most if not, all... bariatric patients are supposed to avoid carbs, this would be an ok substitute for quaker.
I LOVE peaches and cream but I need the oat factor. The taste is okay. But it is a very mushy consistency. It reminds me of pureed food they serve to people with dysphagia. Maybe thats a mental set back of mine but I'm forcing myself to eat this as I write this. Glorified baby food in my opinion.
Generally speaking I like steel cut oats the best and I can tolerate some Quaker’s rolled oats every now and then. I had to force myself to finish this just because I did not like the texture at all. This oatmeal is great for you if you enjoy really soft/smooth textured oats.. like baby rice oatmeal? Flavor wise I didn’t really taste the peach, it was extremely faint.
