I ate these slices plain, toasted with honey almond butter, and in a sandwich it’s egg salad. They were yummy all ways I tried them. I WILL be ordering these again. I liked that the slices were thin, so they were never gummy as regular brown bread can be.
I have tried several different brands of lower carb and higher protein bread with no luck in finding something I liked. I saw this bread and figured I would give it a shot since I had tried everything else. I am glad I did. I was very surprised by the texture and taste. This bread beats all other bread like it hands down. Thank you.
I’ve been on an ultra-low carb diet for 6 months so when I first tasted this bread, I thought “OMG! It’s too good to be good!” But it is!!! It is so good especially with a little schmear, tomato or your favorite addition. I’m partial to savory so this makes for the perfect breakfast. Love it!
If you like multi-grain bread, this bread is for you! There are small seeds and when toasted it really brings out the flavor. They come in a 3 half slice servings; I was able to eat 1.5 half slices as as part of my meal. This is a great option if you like making avocado toast or want something different to put your egg or tuna on. I would not eat this every day.
I've got to give an A+++ to the protein bread from the BariatricPal Store. It's expensive but really, really fantastic -- I am not exaggerating. It tastes like a sprouted grain artisanal bread to me and I love that it is thin-sliced. I only wish it was gluten-free but then it probably would not taste so good.
It’s the only bread I can eat after my weight lose surgery. It’s filling and very tasty! For me it’s great cause it’s not that high in calories and it’s full of protein(which required after weight lose surgery) I eat it on daily basis with eggs cheese vegetables basically anything! Love it great products!
When I first pulled the pack out (7 packs to a box) I thought it was 1 slice of bread but when I opened the pack it had 3 slices which is equilvant of 1 1/2 slices of actual bread! I toasted it place a pat of butter and it was soooo delicious and filling!!!! This is so worth it!
This product is beyond amazing - I used to eat a seed bread prior to my lifestyle change and honestly missed it greatly! This bread is wonderful, holds up to sandwich status PERFECTLY! I make 3 tiny sandwiches but cutting each piece in half; slows down my eating but I am also very able to tell when i am full off even 1 of my tiny sandwhiches! Toasted with breakfast it is STELLAR, and one thing I did was take 1 pack of the 3 slices cut it up into smaller pieces but left each bread on the toaster oven tray separately and toasted it WELL! I then placed each small cube cut piece into its own snack size zip-lock bag, instant croutons for my salad - chili or soup!!! I am in love with this item! PURE WINNING PRODUCT, only thing I wish it they sold a bigger pack!
This bread is pretty good. I guess I was expecting it to be a bit more like bread. It’s a compact bread. It does taste good. I’m glad its packaging is 3 thin slices. I like that there 3 individually slices in each package. I put some butter on them and they taste better. A piece or two can be a meal for me.
I purchased this product as a bread option since I am diabetic. The box comes with 7 individually sealed packets. At first I thought each packet was a single slice. It is not. Each packet contains 3 thin slices - making up the 180 calories per serving. The bread itself is moist and has texture to it courtesy of the added seeds. It has a nice full-body flavor. I have only eaten this bread with a touch of added butter, however, I can easily see this translated to make an interesting french toast. Another alternative is to use only 2 slices and make a half sandwich and add a bariatric soup - for a nice very filling meal.
