One of the things I believe have not went up much or at all is pasta if it's went up it's only been a little bit. I like this brand of pasta and I get the different styles for mac %26 cheese casseroles spaghetti type recipes make a pretty cheap meal with pasta and sauces.
TL;DR: Holds its shape, cooks evenly, and works well for smaller portions and lighter dishes. This mini farfalle is one of those pastas I keep around because it just makes life easier. The smaller size is perfect for kids, soups, pasta salads, or nights when you want something a little lighter but still filling. It cooks evenly without turning mushy, and it holds sauce well without everything sliding off. I've used it with simple butter and cheese, mixed into salads, and tossed with vegetables, and it always comes out the same. The texture stays right, even if it sits a bit before serving. It feels dependable, which matters when you're juggling dinner and everything else going on. Nothing fancy here, just a solid pasta that works across a lot of meals and doesn't disappoint. Hope this helps!
Most of the time I can't find this on store shelves. I like the mini bow ties because it tastes different from the regular bow ties. If you like a more petite pasta, this is a good choice depending on what you're making. I prefer it over the regular size.
I prefer Barilla pastas. They are consistently of high quality and cook well for al dente or even softer textures. To me, Barilla is worth a little more money compared to cheaper brands. Pasta is relatively cheap anyway!
The kids love and insist on getting the mini bowtie pasta to go into their chicken alfredo I prepare for them every time they come over. I feel good using the Barilla brand and have no problems with the pasta.
I like the size of mini farfalle because it is bite-size. It fills up your fork without needing to be cut up to do so. And the wrinkles near the center (that make it look like a bow) fill up and hold sauce which make every bite so tasty.
Quality Non-GMO pasta at an incredible price. The Barilla brand prides itself on quality non-gmo ingredients and I have to say the taste definitely stands out as superior.
thought I'd try these for my macaroni salad, their okay but i'll stick with the ditaloni and mini penne pasta but of course only Barilla brand pasta for me.
I ordered this as a delivery on a Friday I received it a week later, because even though I agreed to a substitute, they mailed and I got it a week later and the box was crushed.
Farfelle was substituted for mini farfelle. Our grandkids eat only mini farfelle. Farfelle is too big.
