Barilla is my absolute favorite brand of pasta. It cooks well and doesn't get mushy. I like my pasta firm, the point just past al dente and if you follow the suggested time to cook that's what you get. Definitely recommend this brand and the rotini picks up the sauce nicely with all of it's little folds.
Barilla Pasta is the perfect food! It is inexpensive, filling, and delicious. It pairs well with tomato sauce, OR cheese, OR with just plain butter. I also like Barilla pasta salad cold with Italian dressing and red/green peppers… chill overnight.. delicious. I keep Barilla pasta in my pantry because it is the perfect combination of decadence and practicality.
Okay, another Pasta review. Same Brand, different type of noodle. I love the over all taste, texture and consistency of this brand of pasta. No matter what kind it is, Spaghetti, Penne, Elbow, etc..always fresh, never pasty. Exactly as the box states for cooking. I learned a few recipes where you don't pre cook the pasta and you just put them in and they bake as the meat cooks. (Mhmm, after 45 years of cooking from scratch, I'm trying new ways to cook faster. Live and learn)! Just have to add a bit more water and remember things like diced tomatoes have their own liquid. Yes, I forgot to consider that a few times and instead of a gravy, I had soup! I do live in a higher elevation, so I'm always worried about under done pasta. Not with this brand! It's never let me down!
I found a box of Barilla Rotini in my boyfriend's cabinet that expired in 2015.I never went in his cabinet because he ate different foods than m,e. I cooked it. Tasted just as good as new. I then bought a fresh box. It was great, too. I did not suffer any ill effects from eating the ancient pasta, but I put mine in a quart bag then back in the box to keep it fresher longer and because we have ants. I do, anyways. He passed away in July.
This is my favorite pasta to use when I make pasta salads! It's a fun shape, and the dressings get in every groove of the spiral twists. My family gobbles it up and begs for more!
ok..im italian this is what i choose. whether im stuffing shells, making caseroles or boiled..making ready for pesto. cooks up easily..yes i like the product.
I like to use Rotini noodles in several dishes. It especially tastes great in pasta salads. My family loves macaroni salad using Rotini noodles. I recommend trying it for your family/friends. Enjoy!
Barilla Pasta is my family's favorite brand of pasta %26 has been for years. I use the Rotini for various recipes %26 it is always reliable for it's quality %26 taste. I have a whole pantry shelf that's full of various Barilla Pasta options all the time. Barilla pasta is definitely one that I recommend trying.
I got a few boxes of these when they were on rollback pricing. They were super affordable and good quality.
These noodles are perfect to use for a side dish Hr For our main dish. I usually serve wine with meatballs. The noodles have a very satisfying taste.
