Compact. I can say it is quite elegant, after you finish the installation. A lot of parts, a bit intimidating at start, but I managed to install it pretty fast i think. the product itself is quite brilliant. I couldn't find anything else that can mount the soundbar and DVD that way.
I always read reviews before I purchase anything, especially from Walmart because my local Walmart customer service line is always awful....but I had to return these. I ordered two for my two TVs, and one came boxed in a regular box as if it was already returned, which is fine...all the parts were there and resembled the one that came in a new box, but these were not easy to assemble at all. I was patient, and I even gave it a day to get in a better head space, after the frustration built up, to come back and try again, but I gave up. If I recall, it may have been the directions; even so; Im intuitive and could not figure the dang thing out. Was not worth the headache or $$ to me. The whole reason I got this was to refrain from putting more holes in the wall, but I ended up opting for the Hangman soundbar mount, which puts like 6-10 small nails in the wall. Id recommend that, but not this.
