These are NOT 8x16'' as far as volume
These are NOT 8x16'' as far as volume is concerned (which means excluding handles), but 7.6'' wide but only 10.5'' in length from the bottom to the begging of the top, where contents can spill out. They are therefore about half the volume of standard supermarket bag, and not as strong. For a little over a penny a piece they are not a bad buy for small items, but are not a replacement for supermarket bags, regardless of what the image may seem to show.

do NOT buy! these bags are nowhere near the advertised size of 8" x 16". these bags are only 7" x 9" at best. you can only fit 2 maybe 3 standard water bottles in it. do NOT buy!
