Barometer & Thermometer With Hygrometer On Mahogany Wood

I keep a record every day due to health issues. I like seeing the ups and downs of the weather for that reason.

I have been looking for this type of product for awhile. [...]The weather station is everything I hoped for.

I was stuck buying ""for the person that has everything"". I lucked onto the Hayneedle site. Found this piece for his office. It is made well and looks great. Just classy. Oh yeah, it even works.

We use this weather station in our family room primarily to monitor the temp in the room. We have a large wood burning fireplace in our family room and the room temp always increases when we're using the fireplace. The barometer works well and is a great added feature for us.

My previous review noted gauges that could not be twisted into proper alignment and, with a replacement, could not be changed from their upside-down orientation. As I was packing up the replacement for return, one of the gauges popped out because of the unintentional way I was grasping it. I tried the second technique on the other gauge, and it too popped out. I was then able to align both gauges properly, and the weather station is now mounted on my wall. The 1-star review was unwarranted. The only reason this did not receive 5 stars is Berk-Bey's failure to provide instructions for how to remove and realign the gauges, which of course would be required for horizontal vs. vertical mounting (especially with a device that included a clock).

Looks good, returned previous purchase (Manistee) as the barometer didn't work. Used this unit for a few days - barometer indicated fair weather during noreaster and 2 days of rain.Thought spending more $ would resolve the issue but barometer doesn't work on this one either. For big bucks would at least expect barometer to work. Returned it. I have an old piece of junk that works which I'll keep. Disappointed.

Sloppy workmanship! I returned the first of these because neither gauge was aligned with the frame, one slightly off-center and the other inescapably noticeable. Working with Hayneedle, I returned it and ordered a replacement. When I went to hang the replacement, I discovered that both gauges were upside down with respect to the hole in the frame for the nail. I dare not risk another replacement as Bey-Berk has changed the orientation from vertical to horizontal while retaining the ""Kersey Weather Station"" designation, and the gauges cannot be repositioned by the buyer. Hayneedle has been exceptionally accommodating in handling my returns. Were I forced to deal directly with Bey-Berk, they would have charged me $20 (twice) to return shoddy merchandise.
