Barry's Tea Loose Leaf Tea, Gold Blend, 250 g

I like to get my caffeine jolt in the mornings from Barry's tea. Is it an addiction or just homage to my roots in County Cork? This is my favorite of all quality black teas. I am proud to share it with friends.

Nice smell and rich flavor. Tastes great with milk and with lemon. I use half the amount I need when using regular tea. Rich color as soon as I add water. I think it may be good for iced tea, even without boiling at all, just left overnight. For the size and quality, the price is a great!

Makes a deep reddish brown, non-bitter strong cup of tea, and a box of this goes a long way. Excellent value. Full bodied taste with no grassy, cardboardy taste. My new go-to loose leaf, as it is more economical than the bags. Love Barry's Decaf blend bags for later in the day as well!

My grandson loves the taste of Barry's tea and has been frequently using the bags from iHerb for awhile. We decided to get this loose leaf package so he can adjust the strength (because this brand's single serving size bags are strong!) and now he's been drinking it every day, blending it with flavored teas. It has excellent flavor, tons of caffeine, and is a quality tea for a great price. There is only one ingredient with no additives, so he gets the health benefit of antioxidants without a bunch of unnecessary stuff.

I used to bring back tea from the UK, as the local tea is so horrible, but couldn't do that during the past year and a half (yes, the pandemic). I decided to try Barry's loose leaf tea, and liked it so much that I ordered three more packets (Heaven forbid that I run out of tea!). Recommended!

I drink a lot of different loose tea, mostly full leaf, but this was the first time I tried Barry's. It exceeded my expectations by quite a bit with its pleasant flavor that works well with or without milk. I expect it to also work well by adding spices to make chai.

The flavor was not as strong as the Barry's Gold Blend tea bags or Barry's Tea Loose Leaf Tea, Master Blend, 250 g.

Does not seem to be the same quality tea; weaker, less flavor. I have been told that iHerb (and Amazon too) are selling imitation copies of the original, authentic product[s]. That may be true. Last two times I ordered this tea from iHerb, it was nearly flavorless. Also, iHerb is advertising every few minutes, if not seconds, during the same short video or post--so more money goes to annoying customers, maybe, than giving them what they want. I hope I don't have to order anything ever again from iHerb. There are other, better options--businesses that focus on customers and quality. Don't trust iHerb or Amazon much anymore.
