Bar's Leaks 1816 Axle and Differential Gear Repair, 16.9 oz

I bought one to try on a leak in a differential on an old Navigator, and it took care of the issue, so bought another bottle to have on hand. Used it to repair a long standing small drip on the front differential of a four-wheel drive tractor and it helped there too. Good product. You may want to purchase a small pump that fits inside the bottle for pumping into a differential as it can be difficult to pour in using the bottle only.

I was hesitant to try this in a Kubota front drive axle. It was leaking at the steering pivot seals. Axle normally filled with 80w90. I put in 4 oz and refilled axle with 4 quarts of gear oil. And gradually the leak sealed. So only a little bit solved my problem.

Great product, be unfortunately my axle seals were to far gone for this to work effectively. On top of that the wheel bearings were on their last leg. I think if if was used as a maintenance product instead of trying to use it as a fix all it would be more suited for that.

Differential Gear Repair worked long enough to limp the car until a repair could be completed. It is expensive, but served our need.

Don't waste your money it's not going to stop a leak
