as with all snake oil car products as I call them, I am always skeptical. but for my son-in-law's old beater car that was leaking about a quart of oil a month out the front main seal and probably other areas, this actually sealed it up! change the oil and added this to replace part of it. do not overfill your oil! it's been about 2 months now and he hasn't had to add any oil since the oil change. worked quickly no oil spots on my driveway either.
I purchased three bottles of this for my Cummins ISX 15 engine and I believe the product would have actually worked if I had added the proper amount and my seal hadn’t been too far gone. I could tell a slow down in the amount of oil I was losing. I think the product is worth a shot at a first detect of oil leak. I will use in the future.
Have a 1998 s10 that the rear main seal was leaking and getting worse. I was skeptical about a miracle in a bottle but after about 200 miles no more leak. Pleasantly surprised
Seems to gunk up the leaks good with every Bars product. I stick with them and Lucas. Careful in winter, because the oil pressure climbs with thicker additives !
It actually seemed to work. Ive tried others. but something about the main rear bearing seal stuff actually works. for how long time will tell. It makes a great Quick fix. when you can't get it fixed right away. and i might not even have to. id like to follow up in 6 months and update review. 9/20/24
works good for valve guide seals I had a smoky trail behind me this works good on them
Old truck was losing a quart every 200 miles or so. This stuff stopped the leak.
It appears to have stopped the Rear Main Leak on my 2007 Northstar Engine.
this temporary fix help until I come up with $1100 for repair.
Good product
