Winbest Premiere Edition Underwater Metal Detector

It functions quite well and nice and light. The only problem is I have no experience with metal detectors and the instructions were very simple and not that helpful. Took me three tries before I finally realized the noise is constant unless you go over something metal. I expected to hear noise when it detected something. Just the opposite unless I still do not understand how it is supposed to work.

Will not pick up small gold, like gold earrings, small gold rings, did pick up larger gold like class rings.

Not made well, will not detect gold. Poor product...

First off, I am not professional in metal detecting but have experience. I was getting this detector because I was going to the beach and need a water proof one. This one had everything needed (I thought!) but when I recieved it, I took it out and took different materials and tested it out. Well needless to say no matter what setting input it on, it would not pick up gold! The sole purpose of purchasing. I tried other batteries thinking that was the problem. Nothing! But it sure did pick up aluminum... I did send it back. Just waiting for my refund....
