Base Stand for Antennas Direct ClearStream MAX-V/MAX-XR TV Antenna

I use this base stand with the Max-V antenna. I am very pleased with it's design and functionality. It allows me to easily reposition the antenna (located on top of a dresser) as needed to face broadcast towers that are located at different directions from each other. This has enabled me to consistently pick up a desired weaker channel with good picture quality - the tower is located in the opposite direction from the other towers. I was not able to consistently receive this station before without dropouts or pixelation. The only question I have is that the base stand holds the antenna at a slight backward angle of 5 degrees instead of completely vertical. Will this reduce somewhat the received signal strength/quality from the different towers?

I am extremely impressed with both the ClearStream MAX-V antenna and the indoor base stand. Great antenna stand! I prefer using the stand rather than attaching the antenna to the wall. I get much better reception. Good stand and good price. Thanks, Ron

The base simplified set-up and install of antenna for indoor use. Great antenna with or without amplifier. Unfortunately, I ordered my gear a few days before the great 20% off sale.

Replaced a older flast panel antenna. The new Clear Stream Max V brings in the channels I couldn't get with the previous one.

The base doesn't have a way to attach the antenna to it, antenna just sits on it. I used a zip tie to secure the antenna to the base. Everything is safe and stable now. The base needs rubber feet or something similar to keep it from scratching and squealing when it needs to be rotated. Other than those points it does what it is supposed to do.

its a nice little stand, it is a little thinner than i would prefer (which is why i rated 4 stars instead of 5) but it has more than enough strength to easily support the antenna. we did use double sided tape on the bottom for added stability and to make it a little more knock over proof but it is stable standing on its own

I got to stand to work but would like to have it made with a stronger and heavier plastic.

If you drop it, it will break, it's has really, really thin plastic.

Too flimsy and short. When you mount ClearStream 2MAX UHF VHF Indoor Outdoor HD TV Antenna, it takes a bit of balancing to have it stable on the table. If you have pets or kids, this base will most likely not survive. It should have been constructed with heavier metal and made taller using a wider base. Thank you to Antenna Direct for the refund. Hence the extra star :)
