We have a diaper tossing situation. And yes, we are bagging and bagging the bags. But the scent is smaller than the pores in the plastic. We started with 4 pounds of baking soda. Poured in at the beginning of the week. We still do that. But the first real change I’ve noticed has come from putting these bags of charcoal under the lid of the bin. I did something I've never done in my life, and I'm 71 years old: I went shopping, covered the beans I had simmering on the stove, but left the stove burner turned on. Fortunately I was only gone for two hours, or things could have been MUCH worse. About half of my home was filled up with smoke, and of course it had permeated the other half of the house as well, I just couldn't see it. I knew I had to do SOMETHING, because this smoke scent was just not going to disappear. So I found this product at walmart.com and I'm SO glad I did. They give you six individual bags with hooks to hang them with. Which meant I was able to hang these bags in all four bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen. It took a few days to notice the difference, but now it's been one week and I can't smell ANY smoke anywhere in my home (full disclosure: I had to wash some of my more absorbent clothing and a cloth shower curtain). I could NOT be any happier with this product. And at $15.99, it's a steal. The enclosed pamphlet says they will last for two years as long as you place them in direct sunlight for a few hours once a month to rejuvenate them. They also can be used with existing air fresheners, in the bathroom for example.

this activated charcoal is easy to use. The bamboo bags of activated carcoal hang easily with provided S hooks. They can be rejuvenated once a month by setting. tem in direct sunlight for 24 hours. There is no fragrancè. Strong odors are just trapped in the activated charcoal.

I could not believe these worked so well! I had an overpowering mold smell in my bathroom. I was moving soon but am very sensitive to mold. I put four of these in my bathroom and within three days, the smell was completely gone!! I also didn't know they are "rechargeable." Just leave them in the sun for a few hours.

Great product and great price enjoy it a lot His charcoal in sorted, absorbs, moisture prevents mold. I sort it in all my windows and perfect item for the home.

Hello yes the product is green. The only thing is that I think it's a little pricey for really for what it is but it is quality so thank you.

one of the four packets came without a hole in them, its not as advertised. though, it doesn't hurt, but it should be true to what it's advertising. now, im left with a leftover hook/hanger.

Don't work ..I purchased them to stop the smell of smoke that comes in my apartment from other tenants and these charcoals did not do the job👎🏽

I did not notice an improvement then I saw on the package that they have to be in direct sunlight for at least 2 hrs before use, if I choose to do so. Did that. Wasted my money.
