Basic Starter Pack: Pooch Cake Peanut Butter Cake Mix & Cake Mold

I have so many good things to say about the Pooch Creamery Basic Starter Pack! This pack came with Pooch Cake Peanut Butter Cake Mix and a Cake Mold in the shape of a bone. The cake mix had dog and people ingredients that were safe for both species to consume! It was very easy to mix everything together and pour into the mold. Keep in mind, the mix is very liquidy. The cake mold is made out of silicone. I have never used one of these before, so I must admit I was a bit skeptical. I coated the mold with some Pam, just in case I was in store for a rude awakening. Also, I made sure to firmly grip the mold when putting it in the oven. You can also use a baking sheet, or something sturdy and over safe, to help transport your cake. I only say this because the mold is squishy and very flexible. It can easily fall out of your hands and that would be a total disaster. It was recommended for the cake to cook anywhere from 20-24 minutes. I started with 20 minutes, checked it with a toothpick, and it was actually already done. The dog bone cake looked so perfect. I allowed the cake to completely cook and it literally just slide right out of the mold!! For anyone who bakes, this is absolutely impressive!! Meanwhile, I whipped up the frosting, added a tiny bit more water than what the instructions called for, and made my pup the cutest little doggy birthday cake! Needless to say, he absolutely loved it!

My dog liked it. It was easy to make. I would recommend this for any dog. I have a German shepherd and he ate it all in one sitting. So that's a good thing

Simply follow the easy instructions on the box and pour ingredients into the bone shaped baking pan in the kit and bake or microwave let it cool, then add icing. Your pups will thank you and they will devour their cake! This would be an adorable idea for a doggy birthday photo session especially because the cake is Bone shaped, how cute!!

Like most dog owners, I love to spoil my dog as he makes our lives that much better. This cake mix was the perfect way to do just that! I made it to celebrate my Shih Tzu's 10th Bday and boy did helove it! He can be picky at times, but had no problems eating this cake. I made this into cupcakes for smaller portions and was surprised when my dog tried to swallow the entire thing whole (which is a testament to how much he liked it)! I also crushed up his favorite treats to top the cupcakes with. Would definitely recommend as a special and fun treat for your dog!

Okay so the Pooch Creamery Basic Starter Pack. Pooch Cake Peanut Butter Cake Mix & Cake Mold is the CUTEST!!! Before I got it I didn't think it was going to be so adorable and fun but I was definitely surprised when I got it and it's really cute and my dogs not going to know the difference but my kids and I are so excited to make this for his birthday next month!! Literally the cake pan can be used for us also when we are done making his cake! I love that. I feel like it's awesome there's something like this for pets because they are my babies too and deserve to be spoiled sometimes.

This kit is so simple, my 8 year old gleefully made it pretty much by herself. Only a few ingredients were added, and it baked quickly and neatly. A quick google search assured me that all ingredients were safe for our dogs, and all three were overly eager taste testers. Three paws up from the pooches and two thumbs up from my family. Though the bone-shaped pan produced an adorable cake, I would suggest making cupcakes for easier portion control and storage.

This dog bone shaped cake is so cute. I'll admit, it is probably a good bit more trouble than I typically go to for my dogs to have a treat. I buy store bought dog bones and that's about the extent of it. But if you're looking for an easy, super cute treat for your pups I recommend this. It actually only took me a minute to mix together and pour and it wasn't as much work as I originally anticipated. It comes with the red silicone shaped cake mold and the box of cake mix. It's easy to bake, you add an egg, 2/3 cup of water, and 2 tbsp oil. It was easy end turned out really cute. I'm still waiting on it to cool so that I can add the icing but I know my dogs will love it. I baked the peanut butter flavor, and they love peanut butter. This cake would be really cute in a picture op on your dogs birthday also!

Products as such makes being a pet owner so much fun. A whole cake intended and safe enough for dog consumption is the coolest thing ever. I've heard of such things but have never actually came in contact with it. Sadly my puppy isn't a huge fan . Not sure if it's the flavor that she did not like or what the fact that she really thinks she's human and wants a real cake . Any how it was easy to make abs even smelt yummy I was some what tempted to eat myself .

I don't usually bake things for our pets. This was fairly simple and easy and didn't take long. The dog was a big fan and really loved it. I would buy it again.

If you love your pet and always like to be extra on their birthday or any other “special” occasion, this is a cute idea. The pan is reusable so you can look up a simple mix to make more. The ingredients are pretty good so I don't feel concerned it'll make my dog sick or overindulged.
